I stopped in for a latte and a place to get some work done and Heirloom was just what I needed. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the service was fantastic. I was both disappointed and relieved that I had eaten breakfast before I went because I wanted to try all the things but I knew that I shouldn't try all the things. Next time I'll be ready to eat.

Super clean, high design and Japanese influenced cafe in Raleigh’s warehouse district. Good stop for delicious small bites, mochi donuts and other pastries, coffee/drinks including wine by glass or bottle.

Friendly staff and a very clean and nice environment. came to study and get comfortable. the music is good and has great study vibes for group study. the man who made my coffee was so friendly and served me the best iced coffee i’ve ever had.

I was drawn to try Heirloom by the menu and the decor— especially the Taiwanese dishes and the mochi donuts. Upon entering, I should’ve followed my gut instinct in that this was primarily a coffee shop, and not to expect much from the food. The mochi donuts were very dense and not like the light and springy ones reminiscent from Tokyo. The pork belly and fried chicken dishes made me cringe in more ways than one. The sheer amount and preparation of the rice left much to be desired. For Taiwanese comfort food, this was sorely lacking. The best part of the meal were the quail eggs.

Cute place! I love their Japanese influence. I came for coffee and my friend for tea. Sadly, they were out of a couple things, but we were still able to get something we enjoyed. I got the brown sugar latte that tasted like a pop tart!! It was tasty. The cafe has amazing lighting and a cool bathroom hahah. They play great music as well, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I was expecting a bit more meat like the others photos, but it was very little so if you order the char siu, do remember to ask for double or triple the meat cause a few bite in, all is left is rice & I eat like a chirping bird too Lol 😅. The rice seem to be a bit oily for me also, but def good rice not dry like other places!!
Chicken kando sandwich was good with the bread (cripsy outside & fluffy inside), but the potato chip & chicken were a little salty for me, and I think they forgot about it cause it got a bit cold when I received it. They were super busy though for only 2 people working on a Sunday Lunch.
The Jasmine tea was really good. Balance out all the oiliness that I ate. Definitely would order again $5
The wait time was 40 minutes to receive my food, so if you’re in a hurry, you should order ahead and pickup & eat there or take it to go since it came in a to go container anyway.

This spot is perfect for young professionals, the atmosphere is adequate to work for a couple of hours, network, and enjoy a laid back work day.
Also, there’s a printer available for any documents you may need!
Teas, coffee, and snacks are available during work hours, I enjoyed a jasmine tea and a relaxing day 😌

I had a great experience getting a small and quick lunch here over the weekend while staying in downtown Raleigh. Heirloom was within walking distance of my hotel and it was quiet in a morning with enough seating and no line. I got an overnight oat, a tea, coffee and egg baguette that came out to be over $30. The food was delicious, particularly the egg baguette that was a bit messy to eat because it was dripping in the delicious spicy chili sauce. I would come here again and try out more items on the menu.

I love hojicha tea but I’d never had a hojicha latte before - it was fantastic!
