Morning View Coffee House

Updated Review: we are back again this year for the yummy frozen drink! I got a frozen Carmel Macciata and a chocolate chip muffin. The drink was not as good as what I got last year but it was still good. The muffin was very dry. I will return before this vacation is over!

We stopped today to get a frozen coffee in the afternoon and I’m glad I stopped. This was hands down the best cold coffee drink I have ever had. Now I just need to talk my husband into stopping here again before our vacation is over!

I did get to return for a second visit and my drink was just as good. We also ordered a chocolate chip and cinnamon chip muffin abs they were very good.

I also was able to buy a tea steeper abs a hand made mug from a local artist!

Hit up morning view yesterday and got the sandbar and the mermaid. Both were excellent. Got the boys blueberry and chocolate chip muffins and everyone was happy with the stop

We got a hot and iced NorEaster and Omg i would get it again. And I am very satisfied with the fact they had a gluten free oatmeal.

Chill, relaxed atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff. Loved the resident dogs that welcomed our fur baby to visit and play. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. Super quaint mom and pop type joint with a story behind every flavor.

Excellent coffee shop! A great reminder of just how good coffee can be! The Nor'ester was great and so strong! The floor managers were very kind to us aswell!

Tasty coffee and bagels, friendly staff, well priced, fun decor/atmosphere. Two adorable pups in there to pet if you so choose.

This is hands down the best coffee house in the OBX! The coffee is amazing, and the customer service is second to none!
I am writing not only as a customer, but also a parent. Two of my daughters work here. They can’t say enough about their employers. The jobs they came from had them so stressed, they were physically ill. No organization or support whatsoever. When they came here, it was a night and day difference.
They have employers that genuinely care, about the business and about them personally. They are treated with love and respect.
If you’re a local, and care about how employees are treated, you should definitely give this place your business!!
If you’re on vacation, I promise you won’t be disappointed ❤️!

Overall liked this place until the older white female (I assume is one of the owners) rudely told us to get our two year old twins out of there after they were singing for about two minutes. I've been here several times but will never be back. She was very unprofessional and didn't need to yell at us in a room full of customers. Clearly not a family friendly place, so if you have kids, she probably would rather you go elsewhere.

I am sad to have to post this review because the coffee was actually pretty good and the staff was very friendly. However the actions of one individual who was in-fact the Owner were unacceptable. They forgot my first drink and when I went up to the counter to ask about it I was met with immediate hostility which I had also experienced during my original ordering but let slide because she seemed stressed. However this interaction was much worse no apology for the missing drink she actually told me in a very rude and disrespectful tone she could not help me and I had to go back in line and reorder the drink I had already ordered.
