Morning View Coffee House

Best coffee I've had in years! I got a large iced Samoan mocha ($6.20 tax included, 2022 prices). It tasted EXACTLY like the girl scout cookies. Will absolutely go back next time I'm in town!! Covid related: you can't go inside, but they do have picnic tables out front. Staff wears a mask and requires customers to do so while ordering, and they have a clear partition between the customer and the staff member.
2022 Update: They still have the best coffee ever! I make it a point to go there every time I'm in obx. You're allowed inside now to dine and order with no mask required, but they still have the clear partition up between the staff and customer.

Awesome, cute coffeeshop in obx with amazing coffee and fun custom lattes. Wished we’d found it sooner. Great staff, super clean and a great vibe.

Breakfast sandwiches and pastries were really good. Coffee was okay. The price is mainly what kept me from giving it 5 stars. We spent over $30 on 3 pastries and 2 coffees. Went to a different place the next day that we knew was just as good for a better price.

Visited here for the 1st time this morning. They do allow in door dinning but there were only 3 tables. It was very tight. With it being my 1st time I always like to ask what they recommend and I was very pleased with my drink. It was called the Noreaster. I would order it again. I was disappointed in the options of food though. They only have bacon egg and cheese bagles. I got it on a plain bagle. I could tell it wasn't a fresh bagle and the egg had been frozen. My friend ordered one also and found a hair in hers. I know this happens but still 😝. They did replace it though and apologized. We both also got the blueberry muffin and neither one of liked them either. They had a very odd taste to them. I would definitely go back but just for the coffee.

We are staying at a nearby hotel for the weekend, and after seeing all the positive reviews on Google Maps, I had to try it out...we are so glad we did! Not only was the coffee absolutely delicious (I got the iced Creme Brulee and my husband got the iced Nor'wester), but there are also two very friendly "floor managers," Lorelai and Laila, who are the sweetest doggos. The human staff was kind as well. I highly recommend stopping through here!

Great local coffee house!!! The smell of freshly roasting coffee beans hits you the moment you open the door... which makes sense considering they have a roaster on display working away just inside the door! Great staff and such a fantastic variety of beans and blends for purchase!

Good coffee ( not much food ) but the place is cool

I LOVE this place! I like the decor and the coffee is really good. The staff are always friendly and helpful....and...it's dog friendly. Even the customers that come in are friendly and carry on conversation like you're someone they see there all the time. I've visited the area 3 times and this coffee shop is on my list of regular stops.

My wife and I stopped to get so b e ice cream, I got the coffee and she got rockies road, cookies n cream, and cookie dough.

Once we found Morning View in Nags Head, we didn't go anywhere else for coffee. I drink decaf and the decaf iced coffee and iced lattes were so flavorful. I hung out and journaled for a bit one day and worked from my laptop another day. Great soft indie rock playlist, steady crowd but never too busy. Plenty of outlets and fast wifi. The staff and owner were super friendly. Lots of great house roasted coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Can't wait to come back!
