I do NOT recommend. the iced milky way mocha is basically chocolate milk and the strawberry banana smoothie was a whole lot of ice with a squirt of strawberry puree...absolutely no banana and worst of all NO FRESH FRUIT. The trashcan got the benefit of our $11 drinks.

Nice little place to stop and grab your morning cup of joe. The coffee is excellent the service is great ! Couldn't ask for a better locally owned location.

Oh my goodness! I love the fresh coffee here. It was much needed after our long drive to Hatteras. The coffee machines & other supplies were refilled promptly. I mean, these gals were on it! The prices are a tad high for coffee but it's so worth it! You need to try this place out. They have more than coffee...I just wanted coffee & discovered the best- fresh coffee!

8/30/20 - In response to the Business owners response to my review. A humbly apology would have been a better strategy than making the customer’s experience wrong. I did not ask for extra hot tea because I only wanted hot tea. The tea was cold and you were unpleasant to a customer end of story.

What a disappointment! Was soo looking forward to a delicious brew and chai latte but no luck. The barista was definitely out the door as we arrived 5 minutes prior to quitting time. She was obviously not happy even after I compliment the establishment for having such a fine array of loose bulk teas, a rare thing to find. But no smile from her. I wouldn’t have minded if I got a great cup of tea and coffee, but no! Would it have taken so long to serve it hot versus dish water lukewarm? My tea would not steep in that temp - undrinkable!

Great great place! We came to Hatteras for a socially-distant vacation. We got takeout coffee and pastries from Dancing Turtle 4 of the 7 mornings we were there. Particularly loved the flavored mochas (Milky Way and Heath Bar - yum) and the scones (apple cinnamon and blueberry) were out of this world.
They did great keeping everyone safe - customers masked, limited people in the store at a time, plastic sheeting between employees and customers. Great all around!

I always love this coffee shop and visit every time we go to the beach. I even brag to my friends when I go, and they're super jealous! Don't worry, we all go together over the summer 😉 the service is friendly and personable, they have a great selection of drinks, and the food is tasty. The atmosphere is everything I love about a coffee shop and the beach combined, so it's relaxed and comfortable.

This little shop was our favorite find on the island. It's a fun little haven of tasty coffee and baked goods that is inclusive and hospitable.

I'd post pictures of what we got each time, but we ate it all too fast.

Great coffee and super nice people. The Mexican spice mocha latte is delicious, and if they have day old pastries, don’t hesitate to pick some up! They’re delicious and a great deal. A must for coffee if you’re staying on Hatteras Island. I’ll be back!!
