We ordered two croissant egg salad sandwiches but they were out of egg salad (?). Changed to a BLT and a croissant with gouda which sounded good. It was awful - oily, and the only ingredient seemed to be cheese. I could only eat a couple of bites. We had two coffees ($6 for a bad medium mocha?!). Total bill almost $49 (mistakenly gave a tip) for two sandwiches and two coffee drinks to go. Not again.

Enjoyable atmosphere!! Customer Service was fast and friendly. Loved the Dark Chocolate Cherry Latte. Will definitely be returning : ))

Fantastic cafe with beautiful decor. My husband and I stopped in here on our stay in Cherokee. The chicken cordon bleu panini was delicious along with the cucumber salad. My husband got the Texas burrito which was also very good. My only suggestion would be to add a few tea varieties for the non coffee drinkers. I only saw the chai tea on the menu. Otherwise, great place with friendly service. Highly recommend.

Edit: They do have iced black tea here and it’s VERY good. I asked and they said they get it from someone local. It’s the best black tea ever!

This place is overpriced and has pretty bad service. The food tasted ok but the portions were extremely small for the price. There were two teenage boys running the place and it showed in the lack of care in service as well as the cleanliness of the joint. They forgot our sides after asking 3 times and we ended up having to get them to-go at the front counter where they were counting money in front of waiting customers. A lot of unavailable menu items because they "haven't made it yet"

My teen girls loved the decor! Nicely decorated the staff was nice too. A little pricey for coffee drinks tho.

BAD EXPERIENCE!
Spoke with someone who said they were Cameron on Christmas Eve at 5:29 pm about how I was upset to have items missing on my order. She said reviews don't matter to them so this might be pointless. I ordered a chicken cesar with chicken on the side(doesn't cost less without). I received lettuce, dressing, and parmesan cheese with chicken on side. I should've, according to the menu, had grape tomatoes and crutons:/ When I called I was even more bummed Cameron dismissed me and said they don't do refunds and that I would have a hard time reaching the manager because he's a busy man. Idk how he can be so busy in the middle of nowhere USA and why his employee insisted they don't care when I asked if they care about customer service...Why else be in the business? Cameron gave me no reason why items were missing and did not apologize for the inconvenience.

Update on March 12: An employee here is harassing me after I left this review. Screenshot below. Still never heard from the manager.

Love, love, love this place! Our go to spit when in Cherokee. Fresh food, great sandwiches, salads, and coffees. I highly recommend the light chicken sandwich with a side salad. The BEST!!!

Love this little family owned restaurant! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The cappuccino was very nice and we'll brewed from Columbian beans.

I wanted to support a local coffee shop for my morning latte, so I chose Grounded. Never again. First of all, the specialty lattes are already very expensive. $6 for a “Queen” aka small/regular size. Then when you go to pay, without asking you or warning you they tack on another two dollars for using your credit card. That takes you up to $8 for a latte! Then, I asked for a hot one and they brought me an iced one. When I said oh I wanted a hot one, I hear the girl in the back say, Oh no, she can’t keep that one, so the guy then proceeds to take it from me and say, I guess I’ll just drink it. You would think after charging me 8 bucks and then making a mistake, they would just let me keep it. Super tacky behavior with no idea of customer service. Definitely won’t be going back.
