Eclectic adorable coffee shop. Delicious pastries and coffee.

Fantastic food and coffee. This place is authentic French and clearly makes everything in house. Get a croissant and a coffee (they have an extensive coffee bar) and sit outside on the patio!

The decor inside is a mish-mash of everything... crazy colored chandeliers, mixed chairs, funky artwork, and little surprises everywhere you look!

Great open space, beautiful French style desserts, breakfast food, sandwiches, salads and wine! Beautiful patio sitting area. Loved it as soon as I walked in. I feel like at a shabby chic cafe in the middle of Paris. Come here for local coffee if you’re not feeling Starbucks.

One of my favorite places plus i have beautiful memories over there, pastry and mini tarts look beautiful and they are delicious, cozy atmosphere, I wish for this place to never go away and Open more locations around Charlotte.

Amelie’s is known around Charlotte as a top coffee and pastry shop, but it’s so much more. They also have a great breakfast and lunch menu and wine/beer.

Personally, the South Charlotte location is my favorite. They have enough tables and an outdoor patio. Inside there is a fireplace, multiple living room style seating areas, and a dozen chandeliers. Parking is also the best at this location. During the week it’s a good place to work (Free WiFi) and grab a French Press.

Bakeries are so good, sweet enough to enlighten the taste and moods but took forever for just a bread & coffee.

Great coffee, sandwiches & pastries. The only caviat is I was there when it was very busy...they made my coffee while I was at the register completing my payment...ny the time I picked it up-it had cooled off too much. When my sandwich came to the table it was only semi-warm. Everythimg was delicious.

Beautiful place. Wonderful atmosphere. Not for the gluten sensitive. Great croissants and a large selection of tarts and macaroons. Would recommend definitely, but not if you have a tree nut or gluten allergy. The options are very limited for the tree nuts as most of the dessert options have almonds in them. The food is delicious. Go there for a splurge. Unique and wonderful layout.

I am speechless. For years Amelie’s was THE place to get a great baguette. I would buy 10 at a time since I live a long way from the closest store.
I was close by yesterday and had some friends coming to breakfast today so I drove to the store and bought one so I could serve something special.
Baguette now is almost like plain white loaf bread made in the shape of a baguette. Only special as to how disappointing to see how ordinary it is.
LaBrea baguettes at HT much better, Bobby Boy Bakeshop in Winston Salem are the best I’ve tasted on this side of the Atlantic.
Amelie, bring back the old baguette.
