Dripolator

Very cool downtown cafe - only down side is how popular it is.
They carry the high end Asheville Tea Co tea - which is amazing!

I've never liked any of their baked goods and their cold brew is disgusting but their hot coffee is good. It's usually pretty packed inside so it's not your place if you're not cool with noisy/bustling café ambiance. The decorating is very sparse and bizarre! 💖

Went with my family and had coffee. It's super busy and popular. The Mayan mocha is extra spicy and the baked goods are all nice.

I've been to The Dripolator during every trip to Black Mountain and it's consistently great coffee and desserts. This was the Cubano and it's my favorite drink their so far. I took a pic of the Carrot cake which was delicious, but I will eat their Coconut Tart anytime it's available!

Mask Isn't required, despite the signs. Everyone seated was maskless, most notable those on their laptops, who were not eating or drinking.

The weirdest bit was the bagel. They didn't ask if I wanted cream cheese or it toasted and didn't ask if it was to go, so what I was presented with was baffling. The bagel was served on the bar where you pick up your drinks on top of a piece of aluminum foil with a portion of cream cheese and a metal knife.
Crazy idea, if you're not setup to for takeout portions, why not just put the cream cheese on and wrap the bagel?

I really enjoy going to the Dripolator Coffeehouse when I am in Black Mountain. The selection of coffee beverages and baked goods is great, as are the staff and the relaxing environment in the store. Nice to have a hometown coffeeshop!😀

Nice atmosphere and place to chill, barista seemed a bit apathetic. Nice gluten/dairy free options for treats!

LOVE the Dripolator! My real estate firm has been coming here for years and their cortado never disappoints!! Highly recommend stopping by when you’re in Black Mtn.

The best coffee around, long lines but worth the wait, there is also specialty chocolates and pastries. Cozy place just to relax and smell the coffee.
