TLDR: Delicious cappuccino, super friendly and accommodating staff, welcoming, and contentious place.
Black Mountain is low on the list of places I would go while hunting for good coffee. But I found it here anyway! They use local grass fed milk, do t print receipts (“saving the planet one receipt at a time”), and seem just to be super lovely people.
The cappuccino was great traditional size. Barista offered to make it a double and while it was pretty strong, the amazing milk and milk texture was really balancing. Not disappointed at all!
This is my first coffee in Black Mountain, I’m not sure why I would go anywhere else.
Stumbled upon this amazing shop driving back to Asheville from Blue Ridge Pkw. Very cozy coffee shop with a vintage feel. The coffee was delicious and creamy. The pastries were to die for, we had a cheesecake brownie and we will have to come again! The staff was speedy and courteous.
Cute shop with a cozy atmosphere. I went with barista's choice and received the white chocolate with rose latte. It was so soothing and smooth. I paired it with the earl grey loaf and then enjoyed both as I scrolled down the street to the big rocking chairs. Highly recommend!
One of the best mocha frappes I’ve had. Especially since it has ice cream in it. We came back two mornings in a row. The blue berry strudel is delicious and so is the chocolate croissant. If your wanting a strong cup of coffee to start your day the cold brew maybe the wake up call you need.
Lovely, proper coffee shop. Great coffee, good pastries (the cinnamon bun was yummy), tasty Chai tea latte and general good vibes with cool vintage furniture and decor. A nice spot for sure.
They have a great selection. We tried their Love me ginger fruit smoothie, and it was very good. Definitely a great coffee shop to visit while in Black Mountain.
We found this place while on vacation and loved it! Came here 3 times this week and every time the young girls working were so nice and the coffee was consistently good! Highly recommend this place!!
Ohhhhhh my!! What a glorious little coffee shop! My friend told me about the Dripolator and I’m in love. The exterior of the building has so much character I love how you can see the stone additions that were added over the years. The inside is very hygge, lots of plans and soft lighting that makes you want to stay and finish all that online work that you’ve been avoiding for lack of inspiration. I got the tea cake, cherry tart, the apple cheesecake bread with a beautiful golden milk latte and everything tasted homemade and made with so much love. I’m going to be going here every time I pass through Black Mountain. It’s my new tradition.
Our must go place every time we are traveling towards Asheville- to get some coffee at this wonderful place in Black Mountain! We started this tradition first when went on our honeymoon. Absolutely love everything here!

Seriously. One of the best lattes I've had in a while. The spinach quiche was good, but the carmal apple cheesecake was absolutely on point.
