Stopped in for coffee with y daughter and some friends. Locals recommended this place. Had an espresso, which I loved. The blueberry Danish was tasty. My daughter loved her drink, as did our friends. It was a bit crowded, but the line moved pretty quickly. I'll definitely return.

Stopped in for coffee on my way back to Columbia and decided to stay a few minutes and enjoy the Sunday morning ambiance. Great coffee, nice place and friendly staff and regulars! I look forward to going back on future visits to the area.

Great local coffee shop with hometown feel! Friendly and helpful staff. Open for walk-in and take out during Covid. The Mocha and Salted Caramel coffees are delicious. The Berry smoothie is healthy alternative. Also, there is a nice selection of muffins and baked goods. This is a cash only establishment.

I accidentally broke my chemex this morning so I went into the dripolator to grab a coffee. It wasn’t busy, but I stood in front of the register for probably just under 5 minutes before the staff acknowledged my presence. I felt unwelcome. They proceeded to fill teas and the pastry case before even making eye contact. I have worked in coffee shops before, I understand down time is used to restock what you can. A simple “Hi, we will be right with you” would have gone a long way. Next time I’m in need of a drip I will take my business down the road. Customer service matters, but thank you for the coffee.

I have heard good things about this coffee shop and naturally I had to try it for myself on my way to Asheville!
Its Bright white walls and cozy furniture gives it that “big metropolis” vibe! I felt I was back in Brooklyn and really loved the decor as well as their delicious coffee! I got a great cup of their Americano and it was just so delicious! They also have a great selection of pastries to go along with their cold a hot beverages selection.
The stuff here was so friendly and pleasantly engaging and kind, a rarity these days.
Please make sure to stop by and experience this true gem for yourself as well as the charming small town of Black Mountains an absolute win win!
Enjoy !

CASH ONLY. A great little spot to grab a coffee and muffin on your way out for the day, or stay and relax there for a bit. Good covid practices. Close parking at the lot beside or on the street. They offer vegan and gluten free baked goods, and dairy free coffee options. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to Starbucks. Highly recommend. I like the variety of coffees and food, and the atmosphere.

The guy working the front desk at our hotel said this was the best coffee shop in town. So far it’s the only one we’ve been to and I feel certain he was right. We loved everything about this place, from the decor and atmosphere to the unique beverage options. We got a killer bee and a golden latte. Both were delightful. We’re planning to come back every day we’re here to try all the things.

Update: We’ve been here twice a day every day since Tuesday and we’re going to miss this place when we head home tomorrow. We’ve been to coffee shops all over and this is our new favorite.

This Mountain View coffee shop was a great stop before a morning of hiking. The coffee was delicious and they make their bagels in house. They have plenty parking right outside. The interior is cozy and rustic with a vintage twist. They have everything spaced out and a good amount of room to wait socially distanced. I ordered the Mayan Mocha and a cheddar bagel and would order both again.

Coffee and pastries were good I had the triple berry tart, and Carmel latte. They can be busy, but they are quick to get your order out

Great little local coffee lounge to slow down and enjoy or get your java to go! Well laid out to sit at a table of comfy seating. Staff is very friendly and the coffee tastes great! They are located in the cute little downtown area of Black Mountain. Must see and drink!
