It's important to my family to spend our money locally and with business that support other local businesses - supporting Homeground is easy when they do this as well as serve a tasty variety of menu items, rotating sandwich specials, and lots of local goodies and sauces/drinks. Great location and outdoor dining options make this an awesome option in the Carrier Park/ French Broad riverside road area

Way too overpriced for what it's worth. I'm all for supporting local shops, but this pricing is just outrageous.

Great ambience, vibe, and staff. The Roasted Vegetable sandwich is delicious.

Staff was VERY rude. Went in expecting a welcoming and friendly experience but unfortunately was greeted with hostility. A kitchen employee who is a man with a beard and black hair seemed very annoyed that we wanted to place an order and seemed that he would rather see us leave.

My husband and I were up for the weekend visiting. We found Home Ground by accident. We just drove past it looking for breakfast. Decided to try it. We both ordered the breakfast wrap, hashbrown casserole and a drink. First off, the gentleman placing our order was amazing. Super friendly and very helpful. We had changes we wanted made and he made sure to accommodate those for us. We sat down outdoors in a nice shady area and it was beautiful. Our wraps came out and they were delicious. Not realizing how big they were, we plan on splitting it next time. The hashbrown casserole was wonderful. Much better then most I have had. Again, I couldn't eat it all, there was so much. We were both very pleased and stuffed when we left. We will most definitely be back for another visit. Thank you all for making our little discovery so wonderful.

Best coffee and sandwich ever. Place is clean and easily accessible from Amboy rd fave mask are not required. Cash and cards are accepted here. Customer services is very friendly and helpful. Although there's not a huge selection on the deli menu what is there is very well put together and delicious. The table and bar is cleaned between customers although there's no safety scree between customer and those working the register.

This place is really one of a kind. That fried chicken is SERIOUS. Get a chicken sandwich, pick ANY of the sides, see live music out in the back, and just soak in all of the vibes. The experience is humble, rustic, serene, and delicious. It captures everything that makes Asheville, well, Asheville. Could not ask for a place that better captures the energy of this town.

We only stop for coffee and it was fantastic. It was smooth and non bitter and they offered iced coffee as well as standard lattes.

What a great little place! On a quick vacation we ate here one night and it turned out to be our best meal while in Asheville. We got the BBQ tofu sammie and plate (they're similar, but different). Great, crisp, tangy slaw to go with the BBQ flavor! The service was quick too. I would definitely visit again!
