This place is doing it right! High quality dishes made to order. We visited twice one weekend while vacationing in Asheville. Everyone in our party loved their food. Order your food at the bar and enjoy their indoor and outdoor sitting areas while they prepare your food. Worth the wait for amazing food.

Wonderful atmosphere, great food, vegetarian options, friendly staff, and amazing drinks! Adult beverages on site as well.

Visited Asheville from Charlotte and stopped by this place right when they opened for breakfast. They employees were all so nice and accommodating, and the service was quick. The spot itself is really cool, with a lot of indoor/outdoor seating. But the food was AMAZING. You have to try the fried chicken. We got breakfast sandwiches on English muffins - one with the chicken, the other with sausage which was also bomb. Coffee was great, too. Best breakfast I’ve had in awhile, and definitely better than any breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in Charlotte.

Was there this morning with my wife and we both loved it! We shared a laugh with the two ladies working there. Super nice people!

Best breakfast I have had in the Asheville area. The grey haired man in the kitchen suggested the mountain scramble and he was right it was fabulous. I will definitely be coming back. The staff is so friendly and I was able to bring my dog lucky in. Home ground I wish I could give you 10 stars.....

My lady and I had our first date here back in September 2019. A Lot has changed since then. We were finally able to get back for a visit. What a pleasant surprise to find that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Home Grown is now Home Ground, however it still had the same feel, and great food choices. Thank you Don for your willingness to accommodate my special requests. It made for a memorable breakfast experience. Thank you to all the unnamed employees that also did a wonderful job on our first, of what I hope will be many more visits to this little gem.

Delicious chicken sandwich! Grabbed a beer next-door and enjoyed the music & while chillin outback. Loved the setting. Great service too.

Can't get over how good the fried chicken sandwich is, and the lavender vanilla latte was also amazing. Super chill vibes. Glad I stopped and def coming back whenever I'm in Asheville.
