Common Grounds Coffee House & Desserts

Use to be a regular. The owner is a really nice guy but I'm not sure he knows what is going on with all his employees and in the store. Just easier to go elsewhere. But I wish him luck.

I shall drop this into my coffee chest...

To start with, they have a definitely thought through the decor. The walls are filled with cups which are up for sale. I would refrain from saying anymore and let you experience it. Speciality Mocha was good and tasted close to the filter coffee I have had in India. I enjoyed it. My wife wanted a tea instead. They had a separate menu for teas which gave me a higher expectation for the tea that we were going to order. The tea turned out to be Mighty leaf tea :-|.

We couldn't help but delve into their desserts. We ordered Death by Chocolate Cheesecake. It was delicious. Very rich and creamy.

Good coffee and desserts and nice ambience for book worms and coffee lovers.

The uniqueness of this coffee shop is about their huge collection of coffee mugs. I have never seen so many cute and funny coffee mugs together that you feel like buying all of them! The cappuccino and biscotti I had tasted good. As almost every other coffee shops, good place to get your work done, catch up on homework, meet somebody or just sip coffee and relax :)

Great coffee shop if you're wanting a place to work on your laptop. It's a bit loud but has a good atmosphere, plenty of places to sit down and charge your laptop. Caramel Macchiato was nice and smooth. Will think of this place next time I want somewhere to work.

Great little local coffee shop. Love the menu and choices for snacks (thanks for always having gluten free choices)! There is some inconsistency in quality depending on which barista is working, but the customer service is ALWAYS on point.

This is a great little coffee shop. They have a wide array of funky drinks and little bites. They also sell really cool mugs and other artistic items.

I loved the atmosphere and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend!

I went here to kill a couple of house while my son was at a local bounce house. I got the cayenne mocha and it was very good. I wish that they didn't charge for drip coffee refills, but I understand that's the economy we're in. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. This is a great place to hang out and work.

This is an amazing cozy coffee place right in the middle of apex downtown. It is minutes away from the stores and a great place to get a warm drink during winters when walking through downtown lights. As far as the coffee is concerned, they have a decent selection of coffee and other drinks. This is our usual hangout spot for me and my boyfriend and we drive all the way from Durham just for this place.

If you're looking for a spectacular local coffee shop, you can't get much better than Common Grounds. Mark, Josh, Liz, Lillian, Anna, Sonia and Molly (and I'm sure anyone else I haven't yet met or am somehow forgetting) all go above and beyond every chance they get; if you've been in here more than once, chances are they know your name and your order and are already making it when you walk through the door. There's no substitute for these guys anywhere in the triangle.

This is my favorite coffee shop. It's very relaxing and cozy and their treats and iced chai lattes are very good. I enjoy looking at all the interesting coffee mugs they have for sale - there are some really fun (and funny) ones. This is my go to place when meeting up with someone in Apex.
