Common Grounds Coffee House & Desserts

So, dropped in as I had heard about them before, and was pleasantly surprised. We had a raspberry cheesecake and an eggnog latte (we were in for the parade after all). It was superb. Probably the best cheesecake I've had in the Triangle.

Feels quite commonplace paying $6 for a coffee in a paper cup

Also the place smells a bit much strong

Been here a couple times, solid place and the manager is super personable. Great ambiance in quaint historic downtown apex and across from apex train depot visitor center. Manager prides himself on keeping all seasonal drinks available year round. Indoor and outdoor seating. Americano and pumpkin lattes among good options, but drip is good too. Funny mug collection for sale. Great place.

Just moved to the area. This is less than mile from the house and it felt instantly like home. From the excellent coffee and dessert selections to the quirky, one of a kind gifts and mugs peppered throughout this charming Cafe 🏡 ☕

Quite a quaint little shop. The Gelato was delicious and the chai tea was a perfect temperature. The cheesecakes looked scrumptious.

One of my favorite things about living in Apex is being close enough to get Common Grounds on a coffee break. The coffee is absolutely stellar, the staff are wonderful. I don't have enough space to say everything great about them.
Josh is the best! He totally didn't tell me to say that :p

Also kudos to whoever was working the closing shift last night for making me a coffee technically after closing time.

Red Velvet cheesecake is delicious! My friend & I bought each other mugs too (big selection in sizes & designs). All around cozy atmosphere and nice location in town.

A great spot for great coffee, a pastry or snack, and some wifi on Main Street in Apex! The service is warm, friendly, and fast while the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Feel free to browse the dozens of mugs and coffee cups they have for sale, as well as the local art. Lastly, and this is important, the wifi is nice and fast!
