This is a phenomenal venue for a bridal shower. My bridal shower was held there in April. The staff was exceptional, making sure all of our guests had drinks or anything they may need. The food was perfect, even gave us to go boxes at the end. They were flexible with accommodating some changes to their lunch menu as well that we requested. The rooms are well decorated leaving for very little additional decor to be brought. We focused only on centerpieces and some signage. We were not rushed out at the end while they were cleaning up. Even found a surprise gift from them amongst my gifts at the end. If you are looking for a venue for bridal shower I would highly recommend!

We recently held my son and his new wife’s rehearsal dinner at Phoebe’s. We were very pleased and our guests raved about the event. From the planning stage through the event, all of Phoebe’s staff were professional and friendly. I worked with Jessica and Angie for planning. Both were attentive and easy to work with; answering my many questions. The rehearsal dinner was held in the Atrium which was a lovely, open space. Our buffet dinner was delicious with high quality food and a nice presentation The wine, beer, and spirits were top shelf. Our servers were excellent, tending to the needs of 42 guests with first-class service. I highly recommend Phoebe’s.

Warm and homey inside- nice atmosphere to grab a bite. Fresh ,high quality ingredients prepared perfectly. I had the best black bean veggie burger ever. It came w/ sweet potato fries...usually not a fan because they either over or under seasoned . Theirs were spot on and I really enjoyed them. Server was friendly and attentive. Definitely reccomend a visit.

Lovely cafe & restaurant in Syracuse with welcoming staff and good service. I had a delicious French onion soup to start. For the entree I had the salmon dish and asked for medium and to be served with double vegetables instead. The dish was ok, I didn't really enjoy the flavor of the salsa verde and the fish was cooked well done. However, the plate presentation was really pretty and they did comp a bit off the price since I only ate a few bites. I was still hungry so I ordered the spinach salad, it was tasty. I also ordered a dirty chai with a shot of espresso and I'm fairly certain they forgot the shot because it wasn't on my bill. Overall, a pretty good meal with a few hiccups but I'd definitely give them another try when I'm in the area.

We were in town for the weekend and decided to give Phoebe's a try after the Orange Basketball game. The place was hopping by 5:00, yet was not too loud. We had wonderful service from Morgan and two very delicious entrees. The wine list was good as well. There were no problems having gluten-free or dairy-free options. Highly recommend!

In Syracuse for work. Walking around, place looked cool. Walked in for dinner. Great choice. Food was good, staff was very nice an so was the service. The place seems to have its "regulars". Several people near me were greeted by name; that's always a good sign.

Atmosphere inside is relaxed. Seems like a good choice for lunch or dinner. Would recommend!

Food is very important to me as a fellow chef. My meal was excellent, but my partner's risotto was undercooked. The server called for the manager, and she was at our side before we knew it. She asked if they could make her a new meal and she said no but would take a dessert. She promptly took our dessert orders, apologized and left to put them in. As the only Black patrons in the restaurant at the time we dined, we were expecting some pushback or attitude, but we were pleasantly surprised and appreciative. We will return.

From the moment we walked through the door... we were warmly greeted. Our bartender mixed us up some beautiful pre-lunch drinks. Once all of us made it to our table (my favorite table)... Catherine (sp?) took wonderful care of us. Many important family memories made at this establishment... hadn't been in a long time and it didn't disappoint!

Phoebe's Restaurant has operated on the corner of East Genesee and Irving Avenue since 1976. It's a favorite of theater goers who attend performances at Syracuse Stage across the street. However, Phoebe's is an excellent restaurant and deserves to be a destination on its own. Recently, I ordered a large Caesar salad with chicken for lunch. The chicken was plentiful, tender, and perfectly cooked. The romaine lettuce was crisp and fresh, and the croutons were airy and crunchy. My only disappointment was that the Caesar dressing could have been more flavorful . UPDATE#1: Returned for lunch and ordered the same salad. The Cesar dressing was improved. UPDATE#2: Returned again for lunch. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a delicious onion aioli and a side of kettle chips. I ordered the turkey club on marbled rye with a side of excellent French fries. Included on the plate, was a very tasty slice of pickle. My sandwich had a pesto/parmesan aioli which I felt distracted from the taste of the turkey. Next time, I would request plain mayonnaise. Phoebe's is owned by the same group that owns the Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles. The Inn includes a restaurant which is one of the best places to eat in the Syracuse area for ambiance and food.

Great spot with street parking near by. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was delicious, seasonal, and totally hit the spot! My husband had the New England Clam chowder, I had the butter nut squash soup and the quiche of the day. It was super yummy and the space is just beautiful!!
