Interesting eclectic cafe near the Eastman Theatre. Lots of fun coffee, tea, chai choices with hit or miss desserts. Cool atmosphere. Open late. A good alternative to going to a bar. This place gets very busy at night and it can be hectic with a long wait to even place your order. They could use a better front door counter system but it doesn't stop the crowd!

Great local coffee that no matter how many times I visit I always have a pleasant time. They do have some baked goods pies cookies tarts. Plenty of drink options and if you're not into coffee grab a jungle juice you won't regret it the flavor is wild😉

This place screams everything Rochester! This is the one place where I first fell in love with this city! The ambiance of this coffee shop is like no other, you can get lost here for hours people watching or catching up with Friends. I love the fact that they are open late, something that Suburb establishments can't compete with. The coffee is amazing and staff is always on point! If you're looking to explore Rochester, or just visiting for the day.. don't miss this place!

One of the best coffee Shoppes in Rochester.
It's tucked away in the East End in Rochester, on Gibbs street. Fun , eclectic place. The staff are great and the coffee is good. Try some of their sandwiches too. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful inside, friendly staff. We sat outside. Had a cookie, friends had the opera cake (good), raspberry cheesecake (delicious). I had the Kashmiri chai with oat milk. Maybe it was the oat milk, but it was fine. A friend has a nice chocolate and coffee iced drink.

Love this place to the sun and back! Great place to just go and chill. Fair warning though, it can become packed towards the evening. Making it very hard to find a plug for a computer nerd such as myself. The drinks are delicious, which is a must for a coffee shop, no? Top favorites: Kinky Reggae, Terrapin, and their Virgin Pina Colada. They also serve sandwiches and salads during lunch; which I've heard are quite good.

Wonderful café and coffee roasters! I visited with my partner Mary, who worked there back in the '90s, when it was Java Joe's. It's expanded since then, and they've added a couple pool tables and a whole lot of art on the walls, but they still roast their own coffee and it's still excellent (and available in bags as well as brewed on the premises). Two of the grinders my partner used back in the day are in the window along with a third antique. Highly recommended!

Amazing art, great drinks, cool vibe... this place is amazing!! If I lived in Rochester, I'd be here every single day! One of my best finds while in the area for business!
