Equal Grounds

Wonderful, comfortable, accepting and affirming place. The coffee is delicious, the chai tea is beyond amazing. The owner is kind. There are couches, comfy chairs, local art, board games, and the regulars are some of the nicest people! Probably the best coffee place in Rochester.

It's a calm and friendly atmosphere, good coffee and treats, and doesn't seem to cater to any particular crowd. Very comfortable for LGBTQ+ if you identify that way, and if you don't! A nice mix.

I stopped in here because I had stopped in the area quick for something and I never get to stop around because I am busy with my kids but I stopped by and my breakfast sandwich was amazing and my coffee was delicious and perfect. The only thing I wish was the large was bigger because my coffee was so good haha. I wish you guys were closer to me!

Excellent iced and hot coffee, friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Kind of slow service, if they had a 3rd person working it would have been better. Would definitely stop here again!

This is the best coffee shop around. The owner is great and the shop is clean and tidy. Everyone is welcome here. They have lounge chairs, books, puzzles and games, and of course COFFEE! They also have lovely smoothies for the hot summer days!

Very nice atmosphere here gay friendly but it's a real mix of people that come to equal grounds. Free Wi-Fi. The coffee is good the service is very nice. But the place needs to be cleaned more the floors are very dusty and obviously need to be swept and mopped more often. The place is very dusty inside and I think that mopping the floor will help that immensely.

I go every week on my way home from work, and it is, without fail, always amazing. Their hot drinks are rich and flavorful and are always the perfect temperature? They're never too hot or too cold and they make my week. 10/10 would reccomend

My son ordered a Chai smoothie and it was amazing! I think this coffee spot is one of the best in Rochester. Definitely worth checking out.
