Equal Grounds

Lovely place and ambiance was relaxing and perfect place to study, or play games with friends(bring some or they have a few themselves on a shelf) as well as a bathroom and lots of seating.

Was I too straight to be helped? If so, that would be hilarious for a place named "equal grounds". Eventually I got my food and coffee. Coffee was a little above Starbucks level, but nothing fantastic.

Wanted to go on an adventure after getting the COVID vaccine and came upon this place. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I met the owner and told her I was from Buffalo amd she couldn't be more helpful in suggesting drinks and being hospitable. I recommend anyone to come here to relax and enjoy some great food and coffee. I am glad to have come here.

it is my favorite coffee shop. great place for board games, socials and poetry when they had poetry night.

My favorite part is they are support the alternative life style. like me performing kinbaku at Reaf. Lesbian and Gay community. i am sure they do other great things for the community!

I just wish they would take care of it. I've been here 10 years and it has stayed almost completely untouched. Other than that, it's a nice place to meet

Great drinks and bakery selection, one-of-a-kind atmosphere, good prices. Equal Grounds is such a nice LGBT-friendly locale. It's a great place for local meetups. The decor is colorful and inviting, and some of the artwork is for sale, too!

I used to meet here with my writing group. I'm definitely going to miss it! You won't find anywhere else like it.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Little bit salty my large shake wasn't filled to the top, but it was overall really good. Love the hot coco.

Visited Rochester for work for a few nights and felt right at home after visiting Equal Rights. Friendly staff, incredible coffee. Our dogs loved the cookies. We’ll be back, thank you!

I really like this place. The coffee is good, the desserts are delicious. The staff is friendly. It's really comfortable, unpretentious. Don't come here expecting an upscale atmosphere. It's more about being a welcoming comfortable place for a wonderful diverse crowd. Enjoy!

The people here are very friendly and I like the cafe mocha and frappe better than Starbucks. It is only a block away from my home and I walk my dogs frequently. Equal Grounds always has a water dish and treats for dogs. My dogs and I love Equal Grounds!
