The art of the good breakfast sandwich LIVES here. Simple, under $5, just the right amount of choice for cheese options. Fluffy egg, perfect everything. Come for the brekky sammies, stay for the love, community, and belonging

Great, true locally owned coffee House, with old school coffee House vibe and service! Wi-Fi available! Don't know about the food, baked goods looked really yummy. Only had coffee which was great!

EG is an important part of both the South Wedge neighborhood and the Rochester LGBTQ+ community serving as a safe space, and welcoming all. Plus their drinks and food are outstanding and very reasonably priced.

Had wanted to go to Equal Grounds for a while and this rainy afternoon I thought would be perfect to get a coffee, snack and read for a bit. Went into the shop and was totally ignored, I was the only person in line and there were two people behind the counter. I waited a bit and then just left, went to SPOT Coffee, was greeted right away and taken care of wonderfully. Equal Grounds needs to have it's employees go through Customer Service training. What is so difficult about saying Hi, Welcome and will be with you in a moment? Anyway not looking to go back. Actually No stars since no service but needed to post.

Great spot for coffee, lots of excellent teas, and simple but great breakfast sandwiches. The baked goods on offer were also delicious. Staff was very friendly and during our short stay in Rochester we popped in three separate times, always great!
