Samuel's Sweet Shop

Classic candy store from your vacation strip vibe. Nostalgic and pretty delicious assortment of candy. Staff was super friendly.

Nice shop, super friendly staff, great selection. It is a little pricey, but it is Rhinebeck, so that's normal.

Wonderful hand crafted chocolates as well old fashion candy. I got Teaberry gum there. I also love the big dark chocolate peppermint patties!

Grandson loved it his dad was so glad we grabbed a parking space

Nice if expensive candy and bake shop. Candies that you might find at the supermarket for a dollar, might be had here for double or triple. Good selection of loose teas.

People there are so sweet (pun). Always try and stop there while in Rhinebeck. Snacks are yummy.

Deceptively smaller than photos make it look. The young employee behind the counter was courteous and made me a delicious cappuccino- I had to buy one of the bags of the Bedford coffee they sell as it was so delicious. Also got a scone which was yummy- decent prices for both in comparison to where I'm from in SC. A little annoyed we had to go outside in freezing snow to enjoy our treats, though- many places have relaxed the mask ordinances and it's unfortunate they haven't too. The candy is a little overpriced, but it's a famous little shop now so I understand. After drinking coffee in the snow storm, we went back and got our niece and nephew some fun candy we'd never seen before and some of our old favorites we haven't found elsewhere. I'd return if I find myself in Rhinebeck again.

My boyfriend wasn't sure what to get and the staff suggested a frozen cappy. It was excellent choice! I got a hot organic chai, also excellent choice!

More sweets than my imagination was ever able to grasp. Didn't mind standing in line to see Negan's 'sweet' side. All the chocolate is awesome!
