Samuel's Sweet Shop

Obviously I came to this place cuz I was passing through and I've heard through word of mouth. I didn't realize it would be so small, but it's in Rhinebeck so I get it, it's also what makes it pricey. I know it also has the financial backing of Paul Rudd, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton. My kid loved it, interestingly enough. He just saw Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory for the first time. So he had a ball!

Also the mango smoothie was fantastic!

I stopped here on my way up from Queens New York before going to see my mom in Cohoes and OMG. My husband and I bought both a cupcake and they are to kneel for. Yes I said kneel because my husband literally took a knee in the parking lot after finishing his all chocolate cupcake. The peanut butter cupcake is amazing. I came in here a fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burtons and walked a new fan of the cupcakes. This place is a must stop if you're in/near the area. The employees are beyond sweet as can be. If I lived closer I'd be in everyday buying a cupcake and a coffee. Thank you for the amazing hospitality I don't get in the city.

I was looking for a sweet shop that had Raspberry fudge and I found it here! I wound up buying a lot more than I was looking for, simply because there’s a LARGE variety to choose from. The store is clean, the fudge is good, the girl at the counter (Taylor) is THE SWEETEST (sweeter than the candy!) I had a nice conversation with her and she recommended a bunch of places in the town to go to as a Newbie here :) thank you, Taylor!!!

Adorable little candy shop with a mom-and-pop feel. Slightly on the expensive side but I expected that from a specialty candy store. If you are in that area it’s a definite place to stop and grab a coffee, maybe a dessert and some candy.

We come here very often about once a month we love it here... such amazing coffee we love the cupcake light and sweet!

I could not wait to try Samuel's Sweet Shop. I ordered a sampler that included chocolate covered Oreos with peanut butter, butter-crunch (my favorite), and chocolate covered peanuts—one word for all— delicious! The butter-crunch may be the best I've ever tasted. The Oreos didn't stand a chance and were gone lickety-split, and the chocolate covered peanuts are so good. Everything was packaged beautifully. I will definitely order again, and again, especially for a gift knowing everything will be scrumptious!

Very cute with all the throwback candies from my childhood. They also have delicious baked goods!
