Service was exceptional, it was packed inside but we still got our food in 5 minutes. Coming from Jersey it was some of the best diner food that I’ve ever had. The French Toast tasted like my moms and the coffee was good. Food was great and I will definitely be coming back.

Let’s start with Yum! Local farms, artesian, fast service delicious foods. Gluten free friendly. Even vegans can find great food.
Come to this little place in the woods and you will be amazed.
We’ve come here for years and it’s always a pleasure!!!
Always busy and tons of servers.
If you can zoom into the food in the window you’d be here instead of still reading this!
Happy New Year 2020!
Home town feel, homey food grandma would be proud of.

Definitely the best higher end diner I've ever been to. The location was beautiful. The service was fine , nothing exceptional. But the food carried it through.

The skillet was half the size I was expecting but the quality and flavor was there .... With prices to match. Definitely the prices are for the clients coming from downstate.

The eggs Benedict were great could have substituted half the potatoes for some salad, but still great .

Love this place! Have been here a few times when visiting Belleayre…never disappoints. Last visit had a chicken sandwich…best chicken sandwich ever! The chef Chris makes it with chicken thighs…unbelievably good! And our server Barbara was lovely….great restaurant!

Food and location were splendid, but I did want to flag an interesting occurrence. While I am a generous tipper by default, knowing fully well that American restaurant workers live on tips (as I myself have spent many years working in restaurants and cafes), I was taken aback when a worker personally asked me to tip 20%. Specifically…20%. Now, let’s be perfectly clear: It wasn’t the requested tip amount, but the perception of being boxed in as a customer that left me feeling uncomfortable. Seemingly innocuous, most certainly presumptuous. It tainted the experience.

I always make sure to stop here on my way to the Catskills. This place has such great food. Out of all the diners I’ve been to (Trucker in the NE Region) this diner is the best I’ve been to.

During my trip to the Catskills, I visited the Phoenicia Diner for breakfast and I was very happy that I did.

I ordered the hot apple cider ($5) and the Arnold Bennett Skillet ($14).

The cider was hot, fresh, and locally made. The Arnold Bennett Skillet (pictured below) was filling, nicely seasoned, and fresh.

Due to COVID, the restaurant only offered outdoor seating, however, the did have heat lamps above the covered seating.

The staff was friendly and the line moved quickly, making this overall an excellent experience.

Nostalgic Upstate New York diner serving delicious meals at current location since the early 1980s. Friendly service, expansive outdoor patio, classic menu with local and seasonal ingredients. True farm to table feel with interesting music playlist. Breakfast specials were great and when I came back to lunch … Pan Fried Trout was the winner.

Upscale diner with locally sourced breakfast and lunch options. Skillets, avocado toast and bourbon milkshakes understandably attracts a lot of city folks. But despite almost-city prices, everything was delicious and service was perfect. Expect a wait on weekends.
