Phoenicia Diner

Whenever I spend a weekend in the Catskills, I make sure I have breakfast here. 3rd time here and still never disappoints. It actually gets better!

I had the corn beef skillet with eggs over easy for breakfast and had their mimosa (Strong and Large!) and my boyfriend had pancakes, eggs and bacon. My dish was SO delicious and filling.

Incredible atmosphere, kind staff, and the best buttermilk pancakes I’ve ever had! The breakfast burrito, avocado corn toast, and potatoes were delicious too. I can’t recommend this place enough. On weekends, expect to wait a bit to be seated since it’s so popular.

Great old school Diner vibes.

Highly recommend the chocolate milkshake and the chocolate cream pie, both really good.

For mains I had the Horseradish jalapeño cheese steak with Phoenician Potatoes. Nice meal, the steak wasn’t the best but it tasted good. Potatoes were a little over done but with some hot sauce they were good.

Would recommend stopping if you’re in the area.

Nice little diner. Waitress was very friendly. Service was great. Food could've been warmer. They don't serve dinner there. But you can get breakfast or lunch all day. Open Thurs thru Tues 6am till 6 pm closed on Wednesday's.

It's a really good place ! All the food we ordered was really tasty and well cooked ! Yes you have to wait but it is worth it.
Breakfast burritos were full of good stuff and good size as well. Pan Fried Trout was fantastic ! I recommend it !
We will go back !

I absolutely promise you this place is the one! Not only did I have the best glass of orange juice I’ve ever had but my entire meal was delicious perfection. The pancakes are so flavorful and fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the Turkey sausage was flavorful. The service staff was great! Felt like we knew each other.

This Diner is super popular and busy and it is very well run. The staff is super friendly and were on top of everything. The prices are great and the portions are very good as well. I have been here for breakfast 2 days in a row during my mini vacation and I have not been disappointed. The Breakfast Burrito and the "Full Phoenicia Breakfast" were delicious for me. They were both just as satisfying and my Fiancée had the Street Corn Avocado Toast which I would only recommend if you want a very light breakfast. It was perfect for her but it would have not filled me up because it's a small portion. She also had "The Pancakes" which were amazing!! They were light, fluffy moist and perfectly cooked and they even sell their own batter.

This Diner was fantastic and will be a part of my future vacation destinations to the Catskills.

A M A Z I N G !!!
As it was my first time in a diner in America, I definitely felt in a movie eating at Phoenicia Diner.
The dishes were all really well served and the ingredients (my friends mentioned), were definitely not as a “normal diner”.
I had the traditional butter milk pancakes and I was stuffed afterwards!! 😂
Really friendly staff!
We had to wait a few minutes to get a table, so if you don’t want to wait, make sure to get there early!
P.s.: burger, breakfast burrito and eggs anyway are also very very good options!!

Food was great! They have some real cool mash ups on the menu and everything is sourced locally for the most part. The diner has a good vibe and is definitely a hidden gem in the Catskills. The pictures I posted were of the "food truck" outside which is an old converted Airstream trailer.i think they offer the same menu outside, I didn't order from the trailer but it just looks so cool. I will come here again just to try it for sure.

This dinner is so good we went twice in a long weekend. The food is delicious and the service is great. There are vegetarians and vegan options as well as a kids menu. My kids loved the pancakes.
