Recommended. We stopped by for a late lunch after 3 days of skiing at the Belleayre ski resort.
The food was fresh and great. The price was reasonable. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The coffee was much better than at many other places.
The only downside was that it was crowded and we had to wait about 30 min to get seated. But this is certainly not their fault but is a sign of how popular they are.

Great place for some brunch, very friendly staff and bottomless coffee. It’s not your standard American diner either as there’s plenty of menu options and the food is fresh and tasty

Dude, my wife had stuffed hashbrowns for breakfast and I had smoked trout in a skillet with egg. Wildly delicious. Both meals were perfect. Our waitress was super kind. The diner is in such a beautiful area too. I thought the prices were just slightly high, but am still giving 5 stars because the food and service were that good.

This diner is in next to the highway, within the mountains. All the food here use fresh ingredients and taste damn amazing. It’s nothing sophisticated, but just simply great because it’s fresh produce. I love the tomato! So fresh and vibrant. The spicy chicken sandwich isnt spicy at all. It uses chicken breast so feels pretty wholesome and healthy. If you drive 4 hours here just for this diner, it’s still worth it. Also recommend the warm apple cider, the fries, and the cheddar grits. I bet the eggs taste heavenly too.

We went to this dinner while visiting Catskill mountains. There was a big line but you can order through the website and pay for your food online. The have a neat outdoor seating area where we sat since the indoor was closed due to pandemic. We enjoyed the choux bun dessert with the ice cream was one of the best we had tasted. The French toast was really tasty too. overall Good food!

Excellent place, breakfast and plates are amazing. Kids menu is a total steal, pancakes, toasts, eggs, all plentiful and tasty. Trout is good. Quite famous locally so always crowded.

Went here on vacation with my son who is highly allergic to dairy because the vegan pancakes on the menu caught my eye. Well, good thing I asked before ordering because the server told me the vegan pancakes were cooked in BUTTER on the grill top. If I hadn't asked we would've had an allergic emergency on our hands. When I then asked what options my son could eat she told me the only thing was the oatmeal with berries...you can imagine the disappointment on my 4 year olds face. A complete waste of time, do not eat here if you have any food allergies, they won't work with you on accommodating it.

I take my French fries seriously! I love these thin cut fries with the skins on! You do not need to add salt either! Also, the meatloaf sandwich is amazing! The bourbon barbecue sauce is sweet and Smokey and spread on sweet brioche bread. The burger contains two separate Meatloaf's and in between is perfectly crisp salty bacon and a pineapple puree that is so delicious I would love to try it on a ham sandwich even! The meatloaf alone is well seasoned with a sweetness and has great texture and not overcooked and it forks well like cake! I really appreciated having two separate Meatloaf's compiling the sandwich because I was able to open it and enjoy it open face style with all the flavor profiles and see the pineapple and bacon. Also, the barbecue sauce being spread on the bread as a separate location from the pineapple puree was smart so that the two complementing sweet elements didn't overlap.

A friend told me to pop in on the way down from our stay in Big Indian. Let me tell you… hands down one of the best IF NOT the best diner in NYS. The food is on par with some top restaurants in NYS (of the same cuisine) and that says a lot! The view is also something phenomenal.
Service has a very mom-and-pop warmth to it.
They try to source their ingredients locally when they can.
The value for the quality is insane. No way that food so good and so fresh should cost so little, but hey, it’s a blessing to have places like this still.
