Best dinner I've been to in a long while. They have cocktails, first of all, and also offer an impressive array of options for those with food sensitivities (oat and almond milk, gluten-free and vegan pancakes). We loved it so much for breakfast, we went back for dinner the same day!

I was pleased with the fast service even when they were busy. Good diner food overall, but I highly recommend getting one of the milkshakes. The sugar shack with Alton whiskey was especially delicious!

Retro diner with a modern flare, and in the very best way possible. A plant-based delight! It is challenging to find vegan pancakes, let alone ones that taste half decent, but these really hit the spot. Fluffy and golden brown. We recommend the vegan chili, as well. What a great treat for a cold winters day.
My vegetarian family member asked to modify the club sandwich and the staff did so without even batting an eye - hence the beauty that is the avocado/cheddar club pictured below.
100% worth the hype!

The perfect diner? If you’re spending any time in the Catskills make this a stop! Only food that got me excited in this area. We went for breakfast (short stack not on the menu but available if you ask!), but it honestly looks solid for all meals (+it’s got an impressive craft beer selection). Great ambience, service, and food. Windows overlook the mountains 😍

Classic small town Diner with all the standard menu options. What elevates this Diner is the Chef and the carefully curated menu including local ingredients (mainly locally sourced fish) into classic diner options. The food is is very flavorful and the service is what you expect. It gets quite busy in the weekends and there might be a line but there are plenty of tables so you will be seated fast. Parking on premises and Wi-Fi.

Drove an hour and a half on a recommendation from friends…. Who went with me. A quaint older diner with a decent amount of seating. From what I can tell this place gets packed!! Indoors and outdoors. Service was good and quick for taking our order but one of the meals was MIA for several minutes. Enough for my amazing corned beef hash to get wayyyy too cooled off and my toast trash.
The corned beef hash is a medium sized skillet and I ordered sourdough toast. Which was swapped with the other order of white toast. And it’s only one slice of bread cut in two. The missing breakfast was a bummer.
The pancakes were very good but when you pay $14 for 5 pancakes and 4 are the size of a small cup saucer and the middle one like a silver dollar again I was bummed.
This place has huge potential but if mistakes are made it too will go by the wayside of old diners who just get along and make it.
Would I drive and hour and a half again? Probably in hopes of a near perfect experience…..

Great views, great food, and friendly staff! We were able to do some engagement photos at the diner while waiting for our food and they came out wonderful! It's usually super busy but we lucked out coming before close at the end of a holiday weekend. I love the style of the diner and can see while it's so popular with city people!

Good food. Great vibes!
Unique restaurant not found anywhere else. The food is clean and flavorful. Traditional diner food taking the best of other cuisines.
For example, the Green and Grits skillet is your traditional grits, but the braised kale tastes like kimchi. It reminded me of Korean jook. Simple combination that I can’t find at any other restaurant.
The special I had, Carne Asada California Burrito, was good. However, it was missing something that I cannot place my finger on. Maybe the fries weren’t crispy enough or the sauce wasn’t tangy enough. Not quite sure. It’s a good burrito by any standard, but definitely not the best California burrito. We are in upstate NY after all.

The breakfast menu is the way. The Arnold Bennett skillet with scrambled eggs and smoked trout was excellent. All the other breakfast selections I saw coming out of the kitchen on my most recent visit looked great too.

Beautiful interiors, great service and the food was fantastic. The portions are a little large so if you’re not super hungry, would recommend sharing!
