nice atmosphere, local ingredients. servers are kind although front of house can be very snippy. food was honestly pretty bad. chicken tortilla soup is SO watery. literally no flavor

We came in around noon and were in line under the sun for over an hour. At that time a guy who was in line behind us went up to the window and had his order taken. I believe it is incredibly unethical to let people skip the line and especially unacceptable when people have been waiting in line for over an hour. If they have the audacity to make us wait in the sun for over an hour, they should have the decency to uphold the line and serve the people that have been waiting the longest.

My husband and I placed an online order for 2 orders of pancakes and the egg turkey sausage and potato platter. We were so excited to have found this diner because it had great reviews and was only 25 minutes away from where we were staying. When we picked up our food and proceeded to open the boxes all of our food was burnt. I would understand if 1 or 2 out of the 8 pancakes were a little burnt but how do you serve someone 8 burnt pancakes and look at how burnt the turkey sausage they gave us was. Something like this doesn't happen on accident. This felt like someone intentionally filled our boxes with burnt food. When I went inside to show the manager or whoever was at the front when I walked in they literally had nothing to say as to why something like this could have happened all she said was sorry and even that didn't feel like she actually cared. She gave me a full refund and I expected nothing less for being served food like that as if we didn't pay good money for it just like anyone else who ordered from there. There were 5 other bags waiting to be picked up next to ours when we picked our food up. We were in their parking lot for over 30 minutes after receiving our food and none of the other people who came after us to get their mobile orders came back to the diner after they got their food because there was obviously NOTHING wrong with their orders but somehow our bag with our food in it was the only one who received food like this. I'm still upset about it and will not be back and will not recommend this diner to anyone. I hope whoever sees my review will think twice before coming to this diner because this is the kind of food they will serve you.

Great french toast and pancakes. Every thing else was just okay. Water was not drinkable

I’ve been here about 4x and am usually a big fan. The last time, a couple of weekends ago, I got the Greek salad with added chicken. The chicken itself was old, cold, rotisserie chicken pieces and was inedible. It wasn’t just shredded white meat either - there were pieces or chicken skin.

Whyyyy would you do that when all of the other food is delicious? Very, very disappointing!

I had read about how amazing the food was, and there was even a cookbook from the diner, so my expectations were high. My boyfriend and I ordered omelets, and though the portions were quite sizable, they were quite bland. Additionally, we also got the Phoenician potatoes, and what sounded like something special turned out to be underwhelming and ordinary. The atmosphere was bustling with many patrons. The decor gave off a retro ski lodge/diner vibe. The waitress was very pleasant. The young man who was at the front counter looked less than thrilled to be there and did not utter any words when accepting our money. Maybe he was just having an off day. Sadly, I was disappointed with my experience there (aside from our lovely conversation with the waitress, or should I say my boyfriend's conversation. It was so loud I couldn't hear everything she said. What I could make out was that she loved her job and enjoyed working there.)

One of the most amazing breakfast/brunch spots I've been to in a long while! This is truly an old school diner with an upbeat vibe. It's up in the mountains so no signal here, sorry kids! Pretend it's the 90s and just enjoy the meal. The menu isnt too large, it gives you just the right amount of options to keep you coming back. We were greeted upon arrival and seated quickly. The waitress was fabulous. She was funny, charming, and understanding. She checked in on us without overwhelming us and allowed us time to make our choices. We were a family of six and ordered a lot of food. Everything came out quickly and hot. The food was amazing. The stars of the meal were the corn meal waffles and the special soup of the day which was a maple corn chowder with pork belly. This place is the real deal and hands down a place to visit, so get out there and go try it for yourself. Until then enjoy the pics!

This place was awesome! Great outdoor space for outdoor eating and the food was great too.

They have sheltered area containing several benches of the weather isn’t good and a dozen benches outside with umbrella coverings. This place has a great structured picnic vibe going for it. Very friendly for families and pets. There were 3 customers with dogs when we went. I loved the van from which you ordered out of too.

The food was very tasty. My friend got a sandwich that had fries and he got a beer with it. He said it read really tasty, both beer and food.

I shared a skillet dish that had eggs, bacon, apples, and some other stuff in it. It could have looked a bit better but it really tasted great! I was surprised how apples and the other ingredients went together so well!

I also shared a “Sugar Shack Shake” which was so good. It tasted vanilla and cinnamon like. Really tasty!!! Wish I could get it again soon!

Visited the diner for the first time since the pandemic started and was glad to see the outdoor space was accommodating and the food was great!
The service was awesome and the porta potties are clean.

We ordered the soft shelled crab sandwich (amazing!!), strawberry milkshake (so creamy with real strawberry pieces), muddy water (cold brew, almond milk, and maple syrup- great flavor), bourbon bacon jam burger (beef was cooked medium as we ordered, which was great; the jam is on the sweeter side), and tortilla soup (wasn’t as hearty as expected, but not bad)

We were so excited to finally experience this creative restaurant, but left very underwhelmed. The fish and chips were just ok. The tartar sauce had way too much onion. The onion rings had no crunch. Not sure if the batter, but it seemed strange. The food needed more seasoning too. Bloody Mary was great and the service was too. There might have been a new cook that day.
