Delicious. Love the Coconut (with chocolate and almonds)... Serving sizes are very large for the price.

A must stop when at the lake. Never order a large cone on a hot day, as you can't eat it all before it melts. Huge portions.

Ice cream is amazing and you get alot for your money. Keep up the good work. Best place for ice cream.

Barney’s was a fun place with so many different options, good people and good food(even though it wasn’t the healthiest) along with manyyy other people in mayville, I strongly disagree what you have done with the place. The options are now very limited and it’s not that great. I no longer recommend boxcar Barney’s to anyone… it was a great option for lunch because the variety of food and ice cream. I don’t think you guys realize how many costumers you have lost because it’s not what it used to be. I also strongly dislike how it was branched out into Buffalo.
Apart from all of that.. please change how put ice cream in a bowl. A bowl is suppose to make it so the ice cream does not overflow. Do not use a bowl like a cone!

Very Very upset, have patronized this place many times when in New York. We planned a day in the area with our motorhome and always stop in the park across the street. I checked your website for hours and it said you were open, drove 90 miles got there and CLOSED. You couldn’t even take the big sign down bye the road that said OPEN. Very hard to do I guess changing hours on website and taking homemade sign away from road. Four other cars pulled in as I was walking back to our RV. Very upset with unreasonable people anymore. Enough said , find another favorite ice cream place.

This was hands down the best ice cream ever! Their huge and have many flavors great service and deserve more attention and needs to be more of these

Haven't tried the burgers but, they have a wide variety of ice cream. Prices are a bit high. Typically a wait because they are normally really busy. Staff could be a touch nice and friendlier

Very large portions. Ice cream/ shakes/ desserts only. My photo is of the "baby" sized cone. It was plenty!
