I shop at Tops almost weekly. Today was the last time. The customer in front of me needed managerial assistance for her transaction, and manager comes out PICKING FOOD FROM HER TEETH. Then, I order a gift bag for the holidays, to help someone out a little, and apparently, a manager comes and takes it. Manager came over and every time the cashier tried to speak, office manager, Marci or Mindy, would say OKAY? like a 12 year old girl. The cashier wasn't any better. I failed to have my card with me to save a whopping 14.00, and asked her, mistakenly at the end of the transaction if I could use my phone number, to which she replied: you're supposed to do that at the beginning. Ugh. Terrible experience.

I try to give this store a fair shot again every once and a while but no matter what I am quickly reminded why I dont enjoy shopping here. Most recent issue was looking to get 2 sets of BOGO muffins and donut packs. Only donuts rang bogo. Told cashier who said that they weren't, I said there was a table sign that said both, she checked the ad and said "nope says donuts only" Then the "costumer service lead" Stephanie came up , went out to check, came back said nothing and fixed the price. I asked if I was mistaken and she ignored me and told the cashier that (fill in name) left the sign up and walked away. Long story short, I unfortunately experience this "level" of cx service regularly. I will say that the female manager that helps prepare the fish fry is VERY nice.

Waited 10 minutes at an empty customer service desk, staring around waiting for someone to assist me. I finally walk up to a cashier and a bag lady who were chatting, not helping anybody and ask 'can you page someone to help me at the customer service desk please?' And she walks over to the door next to customer service, peeks inside and says 'shes on the phone, shell help you when shes done.'

Really?

Five minutes more pass and finally the lady comes out (mandi) and looks surprised to see me there and says 'oh! Sorry.'

Damn, I expect service like that at the Syracuse Tops but I always thought the Fayetteville one had a higher standard. Guess not. Thanks for wasting my time.

This a nice, large, and relatively clean (the men's bathrooms are disgusting) Tops location. I shop here from time-to-time when I don't want to deal with the large volume of people at the Dewitt Wegmans. However, this often leaves me wondering how this location stays in business as I have been here at many different times and days and could count the number of customers on two hands. Tops is really trying to compete with Wegmans, but, the prices are higher and they just never seem to have exactly what I'm looking for. However, they do typically have good deals on certain items if you want to by 10 of something in bulk. Keep trying Tops, I really want you to succeed.

Very competitive prices now that the went from P&C to Tops. Their is an app for the Tops card that you can load select coupons not (similar to Cartwheel @Target). Friendly staff, self checkout and not as crazy as Wegmans to get in and out of!!

The workers at this store were so kind and helpful! I was shocked at how much was still in stock.
1 gentleman went out of his way to help me!! Cashiers all so friendly as well!!

I have been unhappy for a while with this store. It appears the cashiers don' t want to check people out anymore. About a month ago I was in the store and had a large number of groceries and it was early in the morning. The one cashier that was on was nowhere to be found when I went to check out. A young person said he didnt know where she was and they would not allow any other cashiers to cash me out but forced me to go to the self check out. They were laughing at me. I was very upset but checked my self out and left. This morning i had a medium basket of groceries. I accidently went to the 12 items or less check out because there were only 2 open. That one and 1 other that had a long line. The cashier glared at me and very rudely said it was the 12 items or less check out. I apologized and thanked her for telling me before I put too many items on the counter. I was so embarrased. Why dont they open up other cashiers for the customer. Very strange. I know wegmans would NEVER do that. I proceeded to the other lane and finished and left. You need to upgrade your customer service.
