Update: Things changed since last time I was here. Decent food and they were extremely fast. The customer service was pretty standard. The server check on us but seemed like they were to bust to really interact.
I would say I am a little sad about the syrup for waffles....make me feel like it's a hotel with cheap things. I'm guessing it's a cost thing/hold over from the pandemic.
Also one of the coffee machines was down...so no latte....very sad about that!
Great service. They are doing good with seating and guests prepay before being sat. These are new due to the pandemic.

The atmosphere looks similar to a diner. The staff are quite welcoming and are hardworking here. I wish I had a better experience with my food but I didn't enjoy the taste and had an upset stomach for a couple of hours after. I ordered Las Cruces omlette without bacon. The melted cheese slices tasted too processed for my appetite and the potatoes were undercooked. The biscuit was tasty but I think the added "honey" was the cause of pain in my stomach.

The service was awesome. The people were attentive and friendly. We were a little taken aback when we had to wait about 30 mins because we had a party of 8. They kept pulling smaller groups from the line. The food was mediocre at best. The sausages were like little hocky pucks. The potatoes were dry...not the expierence we are used to in Ruidoso.

I looked at the menu outside (on building) the couple standing next to me & I were thrown off that there weren't pastries on the outside menu.
But when we walked in - boom! They were on display.
You order - then they seat you - then you pay at the end.
We went in to grab a couple pastries; but the waffle sandwich sounded great and if I was getting that the kids wanted pancakes. It's easy to rack up a bill -but it was all great!
The staff was friendly. They brought out some dough and rollers for the kids to play with while we waited.

I will say that my favorite part of the meal were the Green Chiles. They gave the meal a nice flavor. The Green Chile cheddar bread was amazing and I definitely recommend trying anything that includes it. The portions are filling so make sure you have an appetite when you go.
Note: as you can see in the picture, my Mac & cheese was not even hot (or warm) enough to melt the shredded cheese on top. It was room temperature but still tasted yummy.

Trendy. Delish. Wonderful home made pies and deserts. Menu is fresh. Generous portions. Never have had a bad meal or bad service. Wonderful strawberry lemonade. Fresh squeezed orange juice. On a busy Saturday you have a short wait. But it’s well worth it!!! The mini gift shop is worth browsing. I just bought the funniest coasters there!! Try Cornerstone if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed.

We knew there would be a wait but from the outside it didn't look that bad but ended up waiting about 30-45 minutes. We finally got up to the front and ordered. We sat down in room two since the patio was already closed even tho it wasn't even 1 yet. The food took another 30-45 minutes. We figured at least it would be worth the wait but it wasn't. I got the southwest Mac and cheese ($14) and it was like it had been pulled out of the refrigerator. The plate was hot but the food was ice cold and a very small portion. The chicken breast was bland. I think if it had been warmer it would have been ok. I ate it anyways because we were so hungry and no one ever came back to check on us . The loaded potatoes were also cold. My husband's biscuits and gravy were very good but has to ask them to bring the orange juice ($7) that we had ordered half an hour before. The family that sat behind us also stated their food was cold as well. We were really hoping it would be worth the wait but it wasn't. I'm just glad that we actually got food because it sounds like several people today didn't. I know it's spring break and they're probably slammed and understaffed but I don't think I'd give it another chance. It seemed everyone around was having issues with food or the long wait.

I always love coming here. Their food is delicious and huge portions. The drinks are good and they carry pinon hazelnut coffee. They serve mimosas now which makes me happy. The staff is friendly (besides the ones complaining about how much they hate their job in front of my table) and the manager frequently checked on me with a big smile. There is free WiFi. They also have delicious pastries. It's one of the few local places to find eggs Benedict! Yum!

I ordered Lincoln platter: The potatoes were dry, not fresh cooked at all, the side waffle was cold, wasn’t what expected. We eat at this place every time we visit Ruidoso but this time our experience was not good. For the price we paid, I think y’all need to pay attention more to the quality of the food.
The server & cashier were really nice with good customer service.
