Last stop and early morning breakfast before making the long road trip back to Austin. Saw the reviews of this place and knew we had to try it! Got there around 8am and had their green chile omelette with a croissant and my boyfriend had the rio rancho huevos rancheros with green chile and we decided to share a berry crepe! He had morning coffee while I had their freshly squeezed OJ! Everything was AMAZING! I really wanted to try green chile before we left town (since New Mexico was known for it) and this really hit the spot. The OJ was also some of the best I’ve had. My bf isn’t the biggest crepe eater but he loved the berry crepe. The eggs in my omelette were so soft and pillowy and melted in my mouth! Coffee was freshly brewed this morning and my boyfriend really appreciated it (as sometimes they serve one day old coffee and we appreciate when it does come fresh). Im not much of a diner person usually but love to stop during road trips and this is definitely up there as one of my favorite ones I’ve tried so far! They also had a wide selection of amazing pastries in their bakery. I hope to come back here soon and try their gigantic Texas styled cinnamon roll! The service was amazing and it was very spacious with their seating. We also got our food SUPER FAST as well. So amazing and quick service! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The beautiful waitress complimented my bf on his baby yoda Christmas sweater and he really appreciated it! Left a smile on our face as this was the last spot we checked out on our trip to Ruidoso! 5/5 stars!

Unusual process for ordering. You order in one area, they give you a table number which you then have to find. You pay at your table. However, food and service are great. It can get very busy with a 20 or 30 minute wait. Parking can be an issue as well but it is worth the wait. I had a half sandwich which was plenty. (Pictured is a half order of their version of a French dip, great). Most likely the busiest place in Ruidosa. Try to visit in off prime time. Even the lowly potatoe salad was really good. Place, excluding parking was ADA complainant and they had a really nice enclosed heated outdoor patio. I will be back often.

Probably the best place we ate at during our recent stay in Ruidoso. While you wait your turn in line, you can study the menu and be ready to order at the counter. The hostess took our order gave us a number and a room to sit in (heated patio!) Excellent coffee. Very helpful wait staff. The red chile sauce is the bomb. We had a Las Cruces omelet and Bernalillo Burrito (sans sausage).

Friendly staff! Amazing breakfast you order in front and they direct you to your table. Coffee 5 stars alone and the mixed berry crepes were amazing. Patio available as well

Not a fan of order-at-the-counter style dining. If you want to add anything to your meal, go back to the counter. We wanted a coffee and saw a coffee bar with flavors and various espresso drinks on the menu, but our waiter said, "There is no coffee bar." We said we will go to Starbucks afterward, and he agreed that would be best. Did we want the muffin we ordered for our meal? Learned from the next table that pastries are given on the way out unless we ask. Chili relleno omelette and French toast were good (although French toast was forgotten until after the rest of us were done eating). I ordered the eggs Benedict - only recommended if you love paprika. Need napkins? There is a roll of paper towels on the nonexistent coffee bar.

This place was perfect! We had the Chili Relleno Omelette and Placitas with french toast. Then some fresh o.j. And a lil Vodka Sunrise. Cool place and the people were super nice. We will be going again on this trip!

Got there early around 8am as we had plans for the day and there was no waiting. I ordered the Placitas Platter and a Chai Tea Latte, my wife ordered the Cloudcroft Omelette. Everything was delicious! Service was great, we never had to wait for refills. Staff was very friendly and attentive! Would definitely recommend, even if there is a line, as it is definitely worth it!

Cornerstone was amazing! So great we had to go again! The food was great! The service was awesome both times! All the servers who would pass by would ask if we were doing okay! Just an overall great experience! We didn’t find anything confusing about the menu, paying, and seating. We even split the bill 3 ways both times and no issues.
We will definitely be back!

Went here due to the good reviews. Got in line next to a "expect 30 minute wait" sign. Took 1.5 hours to order and get to a table. Food was ok, not freshest! Owner yelled at an employee right next to our table. Unprofessional... We were just not impressed. They need more employees and clearly, the owner doesn't treat them right. Cashier kept leaving the front even with an insane line outside. Won't be returning.

Maybe my visit here was an exception to the norm since all the reviews seem to be glowing. My coffee was as light as tea and tasted like water, the bacon was barely cooked (honestly, I would say it was warmed rather than cooked since there wasn't a crispy part to any of the pieces we got), and the scrambled eggs had a LOT of butter in them. The French toast was ok and the potatoes were.... well, potatoes. Honestly, in my opinion, I could have had a healthier, more filling and satisfying breakfast for less money elsewhere. The servers and staff were very pleasant and helpful. They were the best part of the visit.
