Honestly, flimsy cups, basic over-priced coffee, with no coffee lids... It's that typical rustic, hippie-style coffee house with no real character. It's trying too hard to look "unique" but really has no genuine vibes. But I will come back because it has bathrooms.

I love Mountain Monk! I think they have the best coffee! There are some really amazing baked goods to try along with the coffee and other drinks. They serve a wide variety of vegan items. Its a beautiful place with beautiful staff. This is an all woman owned business. I love the art and furniture. I often stop here before work and I always enjoy it!

Really wonderful! ... soul and community uplifting space, and amazing offerings. Thanks - great experience

Very nice atmosphere, decent coffee. Kids weren't a fan of the herbal soda they tried, but I expected that, because, well... Kids. I LOVED my little blackberry-something bar.
If we lived there, we'd be back.

Lattes are solid but the real highlight are the vegan baked good. A very nice space and it’s great to have an indoor space that allows dogs. I noticed negative reviews were from when they first opened. There’s always a bit of time to get things straightened out, but my experience here was great and with prompt service. Highly recommended!

A hub for the community, the coffee shop I’ve been waiting for as a local… plus right across from the train depot.
Wide decaf options, vital for me, in a wonderful space to work or just chat with randoms.

Nice and quiet coffee shop. It wasn’t crowded at all in the morning and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got breakfast burritos and cosmic chai - overall, good burritos but cosmic chai was very watered down and tasted like a LaCroix version of chai (maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be). Other than that, we liked the shop and it’s definitely worth trying.

I went in and asked what kind of muffins they had. The woman behind the counter said, "Blueberry, I think?". She handed me the muffin, charged me $6.05 (!?!?). I handed her $6.25, she gave me a dime back. The muffin was banana nut (I'm not allergic to nuts, but other people are), and the muffin was absolutely inedible. In. Edible. So in a 90-second encounter I was misinformed, short changed, and served terrible food for an absolutely outrageous price.

I didn't get anything fancy but the normal drip brew was really tasty, service was great, and nice atmosphere. I very much enjoyed the vibe as it was fairly quiet and seemed to be less touristy than other spots. Would definitely recommend!

Our group of eight people ordered a bunch of drinks, and everything was underwhelming, including their pastries. It feels more like a tourist grab than a proper coffee shop. It wasn’t terrible, but there are much better coffee shops in town.
