Stairway Cafe

The food is quite good and modestly priced. Staff are friendly and attentive. It's quaint and a bit small. There is outdoor, covered seating looking over the downtown area which is nice.

Exceptional breakfast and lunchtime cafe. The lobster roll is to die for and the granny apple pancakes are fabulous. We will be back soon!

Not very busy when we arrived which was a surprise as its generally packed. The waitress wasn't very helpful and didn't let us know about any of the specials, we overheard this from another waitress serving another table. The food wasn't as good as preciously, home fries were very salty and the omelette had too much oil on it. There were no vegan options available and we were not given any alternatives to the menu so they only had a drink.

Hole in the wall place, so we decided to go for lunch, the food was absolutely amazing, i had a venison sausage eggs benedict and it was out of this world.

The place does not feel like a restaurant at all, almost like you're eating in their home.

Staff was friendly, and was great with my kids.

We discovered this place the morning after our wedding. What a delightful surprise! The place is absolutely adorable. The service can’t be beat and the food was exceptional. Much to our surprise, breakfast was a gift from them to us. In celebration of our wedding. Made me cry! Just a truly great place with a unique atmosphere. You can’t go wrong! Please don’t hesitate to visit this awesome place!

Quaint and small. 5 stars to the chef and staff.. A must for Breakfast

Surprisingly short wait, we got there just after they opened on a weekday. Very quaint, sweet waitress, everything was clean, very New Hampshire mountains vibe, like sitting at a friends house for breakfast. Meal was perfect. Coffee strong and smooth, eggs wonderful, real maple syrup, crispy bacon. If you can get in, go there

A very quaint restaurant loft. I LOVE IT!!!! the breakfast is Awesome! The ham is unbelievable tasty. The hot chocolate and food would make you feel like wanting to take home the chef and waitress. I loved everything about this place, from the creaking of the stairs to wooden tables, to food! Would definitely go back before i leave.

We waited 45 minutes for a table (they said it was a 30-minutes wait) and another 45 minutes once seated for our breakfast. The food was good, but not worth the investment of time. The portion of corned-beef hash was very small, but tasty.

WATCH OUT! They charge you 5$ extra on your bill if you pay with your credit card, regardless of the amount of your bill. Ours was 133$
It’s a good thing I watched the Visa slip before, I took the 5$ from the tip. Sorry but you should’ve warn me before you charge me!!!
