Stairway Cafe

First experience here, I came in at around 9:40 in the morning, and once I entered I was immediately greeted by a polite waitress who quickly sat me down. She stated the specials of the day and gave me a few minutes to browse the menu. I ordered and within 5-8 minutes the food was brought out. The bill was rather inexpensive for amazing tasting quality ingredients. 2 eggs, bacon, and potatoes, coffee, and a muffin, for a racking total of 12$. Stairway Cafe is a hearty place to warm up with excellent tasting food. The waitress is attentive to her clients and is always checking up on them. Service is fast, dining room is clean, and the food was delicious in which case rivals the breakfast anyone can make in their home. I will be returning soon.

This restaurant gives the impression of being “home made.” This is a non truth. I was jacked that they had pumpkin French toast, only to be told that it was “store quality bread.” Their prices are exorbitant and we waited 45 minutes for food, oatmeal and eggs. And staff was not engaging at all.

This said, we came upon Frontside, about three blocks down, and walked in…. SUPER FRIENDLY, and prices were beyond in line with offerings.

Don’t waste your time and money with Stairway Cafe.

Delicious breakfast, perfect ambience! Great staff, cozy like everybody- is -family setting. Service is exemplary even if the restaurant is busy, you won’t mind waiting.

Went for the Fall and the wait was 45 minutes 😳 Will come back to experience the food and the view! We loved the message on the stairs and staff was nice

My father and I were on day twelve of a longer trip and we found this spot. We are really happy we did! The food and service here is amazing. We had to come back for a second breakfast while we were in the area. The first time we had the Traditional. It was eggcellent! Today we did the Scrumptious Omelet. This place is a gem! Eat here!

Excellent food, sourced locally. Always fresh, always delicious. Made to order, and served with a smile. It feels like Grandma's kitchen. A favorite go to.

Quirky upstairs spot across the road from the scenic railway with delicious food, many options and perfect prices. Staff is friendly as well!

I ordered a salad with chicken and a side of lobster and paid $25.00

An absolute must!, if you are in the area. This is THE breakfast spot in No. Conway. The best breakfast I've had to date, and I like going out for breakfast often.

The wait staff is super cool and super kind. They even hooked my kids up with a cupcake on the way out! (Even though they were for the staff).

We absolutely loved this place. The old time charm is alive and well here. It is small yet very cozy and lots to look at all over. The building has settled so be ready to feel a bit off center. To me it added just that much more. This place does not have to try to be old and wonderful, it naturally is. Food was well priced and very good portions. Staff was super helpful. One drawback was they seemed to be all over the place. A few times they were not sure ic our orders were taken or if we even ordered coffee. They were still efficient but to an inlooker seemed confusing how they ran the front. I will say though i could hear them communicate rather well to each other and there was no delay. Bottom line is this place is awesome and a hidden gem

Coolest place ever. Coffee is way better than that coffee chain. Food is local and fresh. Zeppelin lyrics on the stairway as you walk up.
