Mad River Coffee House

When we travel to the Mountains or up to PSU to see our daughter we stop here for a Coffee and two Chai's . Everything thing here is spot on, the food is creative and delicious, we just can't believe they charge for the coffee ice cubes,

A cute, clean, locally loved coffee house and cafe! In house corn beef, lemon poppy muffin (toasted and buttered) and asiago bagel were delicious.

Coffee is excellent and so are the home made pastries, definitely give it a try I would highly recommend and your supporting a local business! Went back dec. 9th and got "the gobbler" sandwich on homemade pumpkin yeast bread with homemade marshmallows super yum!

Was looking for a quick and yummy breakfast with good coffee before hitting the road, and the eggs were so fluffy here it was a nice surprise! We had initially come really just for the coffee, which turned out not as good as the scrambled eggs...

Great coffee shop that roasts their beans in house! Note: This is an actual coffee house with a selection of coffee profiles, not just bland coffee like a drive-thru style place.

My son loves the bagels and my wife really liked her breakfast bagel sandwich and the soup we got later for lunch. If you are near you gotta check it out!

The Mad River Coffee House makes a great cup of coffee and the location couldn't be more convenient as it's just off the highway south of Franconia Notch. The Waterville Valley in general is tremendously beautiful and this place does it justice. That being said, the of holier-than-thou attitudes of the staff and some of the regular customers are off putting to sat the least. That being said, this place is a hipsters paradise and if you find yourself in flannel shirts and denim skinny jeans for anything other than Halloween you're gonna feel at home here. Still, the coffee was good and they use coffee to make the little coffee ice cubes so that's cool.

We had a yummy snack here (chai tea latte and a clam chowder)! Definitely a homey place and the deck is dog friendly.

I met up with friends for coffee and took food to go. Everything was delicious! I got carrot hummus and sweet potato salad to go. Ive never had sweet potato salad and I can't wait to go back for more.
The staff was polite and helpful.

When your coffee shop makes coffee ice to ensure your iced coffee isn't watered down, you know you've come to the right place. People were very friendly. Quality bagels as a native New Yorker I was proud. I'll be back again soon!

Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The cozy ambiance was charming! Will come back back again on my next trip from Montreal. ✨
