Everything was pretty good for the most part. A group of about 12 of us gathered here for breakfast before our annual foliage trip. There's outdoor seating, which would've been nice to be seated at if it wasn't so chilly out. The service was prompt, however, a point a was taken off (for food also) because I asked for a raspberry iced tea but when I got it, it was "sweet tea" (unsweetened). I went back to the counter to mention this because it wasn't stated anywhere on the menu that it was unsweetened but I was charged for another drink. Restaurants truly need to be more transparent with things like this, especially when iced tea can come sweetened, like Brisk iced tea, or unsweetened like hot tea -but cold. Sooo that was unpleasant, seeing that I only took a sip but had to pay for something else.
I ordered an egg sandwich on wheat and my husband ordered a ham wrap.

Had a cup of coffee and a pastry. Both were very good, and the pastry was not skimpy on ingredients. The pastry's main flavor was cinnamon, and the cinnamon stood out very well. So many other places would be stingy on the cinnamon, making the flavor flat and almost undetectable.
I can understand why this place is so popular with the line almost back to the door at times. But the staff does a very good job at keeping the line moving so the wait isn't long. Also impressive is the fact that Dunkin Donuts is within eyesight of this Cafe and yet business is brisk...that alone says a lot.

Terrific hidden gem in Campton NH. Perfect spot to stop for a quick bite after church on a Sunday! 😉Variety of breakfast specials and delicious coffee. Today we sat outside enjoying the amazing January weather 🌞. Hope they expand their outside seating area...they get spectacular sun on the east side of the building!!!

This place is amazing, I really wish we could have them in our town. Coffee is great, breakfast sandwiches are great! Service is great you can't ask for more. And they are open basically all day long.

Quiet little place in the mountains. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, comfy seating. I have come here several times and always try to stop when I am passing by on i93. My favorite coffee shop in New England.

I travel north occasionally for work and this is a mandatory pit stop. I wish this shop was local to me, a great establishment with awesome food, coffee and a great staff. .I don't give many 5 stars

I was introduced to Mad River Coffee House on a recommendation from a friend. I enjoyed my first visit so much that I have been back a number of times! I enjoy trying something new each time I stop in :)

The coffee is one of the best I’ve had, the pastries are also soooo good! If you’ve never been you won’t be disappointed. It gets super busy and crowed at times but that speaks for the quality of the place.

I love the atmosphere of this coffee house! Also, if you need a fantastic soup, they have soups and chili by the quart. The chicken and gnocchi was out of this world delish!
