Amazing environment inside the restaurant. The decor is welcoming and the staff is friendly. The menu offers traditional breakfast and lunch items as well as some signature foods. The food was served hot and our cups were kept full. I would highly recommend The Cup for breakfast or lunch. We visit Reno frequently and of all the places we've tried, this has become a new favorite.

I apologize about the bitten jalapeño burger and tapatio covered fries. But this place has amazing food! I tried the jalapeño burger for the first time and loved the taste. I was wondering where the jalapeños were when I discovered it under the melted cheese. I highly recommend this place for your breakfast, lunch, and brunch cravings!

I enjoy the Cup. Been here a few times now and the food always slays. The Chicken fried steak is a perfect size for a good meal. It's a solid brunch spot as well with lots of menu options. Our server was attentive and friendly. It can be a bit crowded on the weekends usually a 20 minute wait but it is worth it. However not too much seating for the amount of folks that wait.

Was there today. Food is usually decent. Today I almost sent it back. Worst part of the visit today was listening to the host and a waitress talk smack about a customer while I was waiting to be seated. Not exactly professional. Sad because I won't be back and I won't refer people here anymore. Used to be much better than it is now. Disappointing.

I took my Meetup group there today for breakfast. They don’t take reservations on Sunday but i called in the morning and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The fruit cup was full of freshly cut fruit and everyone was pleased with their meal. Thank you!

I love this place and the food is great! Service is usually also great. There is one server there that is sometimes not so friendly. Last time we were in we got a dirty cup with lipstick on it. When we pointed it out the server didn't say a word and just grabbed a new one. It made me uneasy about the cleanliness.

Food - 3.5. I got the veggie wrap, which had a good flavor. However, the potato salad side left much to be desired.

Service - 4. Friendly enough, however I asked for jalapeños added to my wrap, which didn’t happen and my friends juice was forgotten and had to be reminded twice.

Ambience - 4.5. Clean and comfortable place with lots of natural light.

Bathroom - 3. Not clean and had a foul smell

Overall - 3.75

Because of their success, they don’t realize that their business model is poorly designed. They have excellent food but the way that they have it set up where the servers make all the money is wrong.
It’s very obvious that the support staff does all of the work while the servers literally just take the order.
We came in and sat down and waited over an hour to get our food because the server didn’t come back and check on us once. She expects the busser to take care of everything for her.
Then, if you try to make a to go order over the phone, the house hast to go find a server to enter it in because the server is the only one that can collect the tip.
They really need to realize how obvious this is to the customers who come in.
Greed doesn’t look good on anybody.

Cute local diner with a really great food selection! The staff is always working hard and food comes out fast. There is usually a wait, so be prepared for that. However, if you have two people, there is usually no wait at the counter.
