Jack's Coffee Shop #2

Good food at decent pricing. Nice wait staff, good coffee shop setting. We had a party of nine, and they just push some tables together and got to set up quickly. One order had a boo boo, no problem whatsoever, she took it back and made us the correct one with a smile on her face. Good place to go.

Had Mother's Day Breakfast here and it was delicious. Service was GREAT and Very FRIENDLY even though the place was PACKED. Wait time was quick, about 10-15 minutes. The place was clean, even the restrooms. The Owner was very friendly and greeted you when he seated you and checked on you at your table, and like I said, the place was PACKED. We will be back.

We came here because Denny's was full. Our wait was 5 minutes. Menu looked good and the food came fast even though they were busy. Service was professional.

Just loved the French fries. I would go back just to order them. Excellent in all areas.

Arrived around 10 30 am on 4th of July. The wait was about 20 minutes. The host and server were very friendly. We ordered eggs benedict, victorian special, and the ham steak. The food came out very fast and was correct. Everything was very delicious! Definitely recommend!

This place was busy. The food was good and the cooks were great at keeping up. They had a separate person taking drink orders, which is good, but he was very slow. The server was good at getting our order in and remembering who ordered what, however, she was not good at following up and she made a HUGE mistake that (along with the managers response) caused this 2 star rate. We asked for more syrup as we were a large group, and after our meals were a quarter gone, she went to a table that was just walking away and took the syrup off that table..that had no lid, and braught it to our table. This wasn't even acceptable before COVID, let alone now. After our meal we told the manager and his response was an apology along with "it's been crazy .." also, not acceptable. If they can't keep up with safety protocol, they shouldn't be open.

fantastic food. great service. only little things... under easy instead of over easy eggs no biggie great spot.

Excellent food, extraordinary customer service. It is outdated but definitely a must try if you in Reno or like us, driving by.

-First visit was great, second visit was horribly disappointing. If you plan to go to Jack's, go early enough that the staff is still willing to give you good service.

The first time I went to Jack's Cafe, I was quite pleased. I thought the food was good quality and prepared quickly. The staff was very polite and I had an enjoyable time on a Sunday breakfast. I was happy with Jack's Cafe, but the second time I visited the restaurant I was very disappointed. I can only assume this is because they were getting close to closing, but it was still early enough that I shouldn't have been an inconvenience. They got my order wrong, which is a completely understandable mistake. I asked them politely if they could bring me out what I had ordered and they were very willing to do so. While the food was in the kitchen, my waitress came back and tried to correct me, stating that I had improperly said my order and told me that I needed to be more clear. I knew for a fact that I did not order incorrectly because the item I had received is something I would never order. After arguing with the waitress, they brought me only part of my original order without replacing other portions that had also been wrongly prepared. I am sad to say that I probably won't return to Jack's. After what was such a wonderful first visit, I expected the second to be the same. If you decide to go to Jack's, make sure you go early when everyone is still bright-eyed and willing to give you good service.
