After being seated, we waited for over 20 minutes and no one came to greet us or even to bring us a drink. We got up and left. We went to Kobe Steak and Sushi which is just a couple blocks away and the service there was excellent.

I have to warn you, this is going to be my first ( and hopefully last) extremely negative review. My dining partner and I have been to so many of Butte's restaurants, and have never had such a terrible dining experience.
As we entered the restaurant we noticed it to be about 2/3 full of diners. We were given the table closest to the kitchen. Our waitress came over right away to take our drink order. So far, so good.
She returned with our drinks, and wanted to know if we were ready to order. I had a question about the "over 55" menu, and said I would like the chicken fried steak. Not available, she said. Next idea: their pot roast. Not available. Also then rattled off a list of foods not available: baked potato, mashed potato, etc etc... And a no go on most of the veggie choices. My dining partner and I just looked bleakly at each other. We were hungry though, so we decided to remain and just order burgers. I am not fond of french fries, so I ordered tater tots with my meal.
Our order took maybe 20 minutes to arrive. Mine was loaded with French fries. I reminded the waitress that I had ordered tots. She said she would check in the Kitchen. After another twenty minutes, she brought out a huge serving of tots on a platter. Way too much! Plus I had to eat them with my fingers as we had never received any napkins or silverware at our table.
She offered a refill of soda to my companion. She was pretty fast getting it. But after eating as many tots as I could, I asked her for about a half of a glass refill of my soda. After waiting for over 15 minutes and receiving no soda refill, we decided to go ahead and leave.
I went over and paid for our meal, and did not leave her a tip.
I am a strict tipper. Tipping is NOT an "inalienable right". I love to tip well...but the server must deserve it. Ours did not deserve any... No cutlery, no napkins, no coming by the table to check if we needed anything. No service in a timely manner. I have never had such poor service at an eatery here in Butte. It was bad enough having such poor menu options, but our server just made a bad situation worse.
I am not sure that we will return there. It was the second worst dining experience in my entire life.

After checking into the hotel and checking our room, we came down to Perkins. It's a nice joint everyone is friendly, the food was worth the price. Our server Ethan was good he was just a little slow but did get everything to us.

The food tasted terrible. The food that is shows in the menu photos has nothing in common with what we received. The crispers looked and tasted like McDonalds strawberry pie. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Open atmosphere in this establishment. Food was hot and fresh and the staff that served was friendly. Unfortunately, they were out of the desert I requested, but overall the food was great.

We ordered to-go on a Sunday morning. The girl who took my order over the phone made a few mistakes. I ordered my eggs over hard and they came out over easy because that’s what she put it for the kitchen. She also forgot to add avocado I asked for and I had to ask for it afterwards. They also didn’t give us any syrup for my husband’s French toast. They did remake my eggs and they were careful about my dairy and gluten allergies. But there were a lot of mistakes.

My husband and I were on vacation and stopped at Perkins for supper, we were seated right away-then we sat and sat..3 more groups came in and were seated, given drinks and all 3 groups had their orders taken, still nothing!!! 20 minutes later with No service we got up and left. There were 3-4 people standing behind the hostess area, doing absolutely nothing.

I rarely even review if I can't give a good review. This time it's necessary. I know it was crowded, and people get stressed, I get it. I requested items be left off our dish because of food allergies, and believe me, I'm used to mistakes. That's why we check the food, no problem. My daughter's salad was corrected and the manager made it right, and didn't charge me. I still left a tip for more than 20% of what the tab would have been. The reason I am giving mediocre rating is because the superior hostess and generous manager should not have to work so hard to balance out the incredibly rude server we met. Ick. The bathroom is upscale because of the location attached to a hotel, the food probably would have been tasty if my seafood hadn't gotten cold while I waited for my kid's corrected order. I would give them another chance, but only on my best day.
