Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

Walked in 20 minutes before closing and had the best breakfast all week. After 13 hrs on the road it was a much needed meal. Staff was awesome! Food was great. Best pancakes on our trip!!

Very nice. The food was very tasty! The waitress kept coming back to our table to make sure we had everything we needed.

Usually we have great experience but today, it took us about 10 min after we sat down before we got a drink or even a drink order.
Ordered our food and after about 30-45 min, we left. Our waiter was hiding in the kitchen most of the time and was a table next to us complained of cold food so we got tired of waiting and left.
Very disappointed in the service.

I'm torn on this review. Our server was on top of it 90% of the time. Then food was so/so. My husband meal was warm at best and my sandwich was dry and pretty tasteless. Just for kicks I ordered a special they were having of strawberry crispers (blitzes). I really wanted them to bed good. Unfortunately they had no strawberries, just a thin layer of strawberry flavored cream. The cream was bland and then they added a bowl of whipped cream to dip them in and it also was bland. They really missed an opportunity to make these danishes flavorful, but they were just bland.

20 minutes just for water. Then al long wait for our food. The French toast was flavorless, the blt was burnt and did not have half of the bacon as in the description, and the fries were cold. Asked the waitress 3 times for some sauce. It was a little busy but not really busy.

Food was delicious. Service was great too, she had a big party in the back room and did great keeping us satasified.

One waitress, not ours, was surly and rude. The food was pretty good and our waitress did an average job. Ho-hum in the personality and friendliness department for each employee I interacted with.

Some aspects were very good: our food was great except for the wilted broccoli which was cheerfully replaced. Our server was excellent. On the negative side, the hostess that showed us to the table was not competent, but this might have been a training issue. Also, it took a long time for our food to arrive.

Good ol reliable, what you'd expect for menu. Hit or miss for the cook. Sometimes it's really good and others it's okay. I got a steak once and it was like a stiff flexed muscle, beyond that one time, it's pretty good. Service staff are good.
