Blondie's Coffee & Wine Bar

My fourth time here , my first time bad service. Being seated was fast but when we got to our seats after ordering we waited 40 mins for our food . We asked that our drinks be brought out with our food . It was brought out 25 mins before we had no choice but to drink it or it would of been cold . When we finally got our food 40 mins later of course the drinks were gone. The empty cups sat on the table until we asked the lady to remove them . I ask to substitute the toast but somehow after 40 mins I guess Kamaryn forgot . The manager offered a 15 percent off discount . But it wasn’t about that after waiting 40 mins we didn’t even want to eat , we had drunk a hot coco on a empty stomach and stomach was really hurting . Manager never apologized. It was just the entire experience. The people who ordered after us had ate , drank and left . And I get it that food could possibly come out at different times but 20 mins later . Most of our food is still on our plates . This is my last time coming here . It really offset my morning . Oh and I forgot about the insects . Since we had been waiting on our food and had finished our hot coco nets where swimming around our table making everything so uncomfortable to eat

As we walked from the chilling weather outside into the warmth of Blondies we were greeted and then seated, we ordered and the food was out in a blink of an eye.
Display of the food is fancy, I ate with my pinky out and the chocolate milk is fancy.
We sung together and laughed together. The food brought joy to the table as well as made great photos.
The French toast was delicious, the pancakes were made so fluffy but crunchy in all the right spots. The sausage and bacon made our taste buds jump with excitement as you tore into the next bite.
The atmosphere if you couldn't tell was a joyful and warming. The staff all seem to be chipper and enjoying themselves which is awesome to see. Good experience.

Con: Latte was okay (one said bad), cost for a party of two was a bit expensive.

Can't really provide a positive review as I've been trying to reach someone at Blondie's for over a week now about catering an event and they cannot manage to pick up the phone. It just rings and rings before the line disconnects because they don't have voicemail. So, maybe the food is good, but I wouldn't know cuz I can't tell if they are still in business... Definitely don't rely on them for catering and good luck contacting them about anything. I'll go with someplace more reliable that actually wants my business.

Great prices for downtown St. Louis! My friend & I had Malik as our server and he is a rockstar!! Excellent food and worth the wait. I recommend the hummus but I wish they gave us more pita bread for the huge amount of hummus ♡. When in doubt, use your chips!

It was a nice atmosphere. The hostess was refreshing and bubbly. The waitess was attentive to everyone's needs. It was refreshing. I liked it. Oh, and the food was good.

Terrible. I ordered a blueberry pancake platter. Scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. The bacon tasted like burnt cardboard. It was legit fully black on one side. The eggs were visibly burnt as well and to top it off so were the pancakes. They had a crust around them as well. I wish I had taken a picture but literally everything on my plate was burnt. There was also one server. Not their fault but just to add to things. So I paid $20 for a burnt meal that took 20 minutes to get to me.

Food was horrible my banana French toast was so hard. The bananas was nasty my eggs was so hard my fork didn’t cut them.. my food got cold quick is was super cold inside. Also the guy @ the register needs to be a lil faster taking orders to friendly especially when the line is out the DOOR!! Also while sipping his tea are coffee Really not cool.

Very weird system for how things run here- full bar but you have to wait to come up and get your drinks yourself, so if you’re outside its a waiting game of up and down for 20 minutes till you get the 15$ martini you asked for.
asked for over easy- got over burnt, and for eggs and oatmeal- 30$ and a tip. (and a hair on my plate- yum!) staff was nice but they need support. 3 people to run a brunch shift is insane- even just for a monday.

Food was good however a homeless gentlemen went to order food and they wouldn’t let him order. They made him leave. Not to mention that it was super discriminatory but the man left in tears. People even tried to pay for his food although he had money to purchase from this establishment. They just didn’t want him in their business. I would not go back based on this restaurants morals.

Its been 1hr and the food still not here! 4 kids going crazy
