We ordered two slingers and 3 pop overs...the pop overs dark brown-over done and hard. Asked for the pesto and didn't get any. The slinger my friend got was perfect and then mine...barely any egg/chorizo and I couldn't even cut or bite through the biscuit. Very disappointed in the experience. I've been here multiple times, so I'm gonna chalk it up to one bad day, but not even being able to chew through the bread...wild.

Possibly the most tender/best steak I've ever had despite the steak being a bit more done than I'd normally get it, how flavorful was well enough to make up for that fact.

Ambience was fantastic, our waiter was super nice...... but our waffles took forever to come out (not a busy time) and when they did they were cold. My boyfriend and I were too hungry to complain. Also, I cannot drink dairy or soy and the menu only lists regular milk for their tasty sounding selection of espresso beverages; I figured I'd only be able to get a black coffee but turns out they do have almond milk (maybe coconut too? ). That should **definitely** be on the menu.
If I lived downtown I could maybe see myself going there more often because it looks so nice...... perhaps will go again and be able to give more stars.

Ordered a $8 grilled cheese with no description expecting it to be gourmet or something special, got delivered American cheese between two pieces of white bread toast not even hot, ordered a $11 caeser salad, it was served to me without dressing and when I asked for dressing, it came 15 minutes later and wasn't caeser dressing. Might've been a bad day for them, but ultimately a complete waste of money

The service is slow and the food is bad … I ordered the Benedict and the eggs were like hard boiled … the potatoes greasy, the fruit never came … the Guys (servers) work hard but they need help… and the cooks needs some inspiration.. I never write reviews but that was bad .

Amazing coffee shop and bar. I love the atmosphere and the people. The food is pretty good too. My brother loses his mind over their pancakes. Try'em!

This is the best breakfast place hands down in STL. I got the steak and eggs and I have never had a juicier steak at a breakfast place until I came here. Personally I am not a big fan of the coffee. Wish they would pick a smoother blend but it seems like this is the go to coffee for many of the local breakfast restaurants in STL... perhaps they use a local roaster for the beans.
Will definitely be back!

Quick breakfast on our last night in town. The atmosphere was great, comfortable and gave room to spread out. The staff was friendly enough, nothing special, and the food wasn't bad at all. I was tempted to try the waffles because of all the mixed reviews but ultimately, I went with a Blondie's unique dish. It was heavy, but good.

Malik is the best server! He was so cheerful and easy going and had us taken care of well. The kitchen brought out my sandwich with hair on it, but quickly remade it with no problems. Would definitely come back!

I came here twice while I was in town for a conference to make sure I tried St. Louis’s famed gooey butter bars. On my first trip I only stopped at the counter and my service was lovely. On my second trip I sat outside and my server was also attentive and kind. I was able to find a veggie/hummus sandwich in a very meat heavy area and I felt so refreshed after. I would definitely recommend if not for the ambiance, for the food!
