City Market Coffee

This really is one of my favorite coffeehouses anywhere. The staff is always super chill and enjoying life. They're friendly and fun. The ambiance is great and so is the coffee. It's also awesome to be in the City Market area, especially during the weekends when it's busy. If you do go on the weekends, be prepared to walk a few blocks, because you might have to since parking is a cluster. Though that's part of the charm too.

I saw a Barista drop a customers open bag of something, it fell on the floor.. I'm standing right at the counter, she picked it up and said to the other Barista "oh well" I'm thinking she's going to have to make a new batch or whatever snacks that was but nope.. she stapled it up and set it on the ready to picked up rack. This morning

I am an Uber Eats driver.

I waited 25 plus minutes to pick up 2 orders that had been sitting out on the upper counter. and ready.

Not only was my time waisted, also customers wait time increased due to poor customer service on the morning of 9/23/21.

The waitress that helped me apologized twice.

It makes no sense that it was overlooked when both orders were ready.

2nd time I asked for the order she went right to the drinks and asked if I needed a drink Tray. Well yes of course.

Hopefully the Owner reads this review.

Your worker who has bangs dark hair...pale skin purposely made me wait on purpose.

It's sad that some waitresses will play these type of games.

I am simply doing my job as a delivery driver to provide a service.

This is discrimination based on how I look and dress. Unfortunately Uber Eats and other platforms do not have dress codes. I was wearing casual clothingva mask and scarf on my head.

I waited patiently and was professional. Hope fully others won't experience this same issue.

It's been a family tradition of ours to go to the City Market Coffee shop for years on saturday mornings, and even though I'm now away at college, every time I go home I ask my mom if we can go get coffee here again. I absolutely LOVE the people who work here, and the coffee is worth it. My favorite drink is the Dirty Hippie, I highly reccomend this place!!

I love Vietnamese coffee.

City Market Coffee is my all time favorite coffee shop in KC! The atmosphere is welcoming and showcases a KC community to be proud of. I recommend the brewed awakening drip, cubano or hippie...but really you can’t go wrong with any order!

I love this coffee shop. They have one of the beat cold brews in town. I’m so glad they sell their cold brew beans so I can make this loveliness at home. The staff has been so friendly every time I have gone there. It’s a must stop place when I go to the city market area.

City Market Coffee is a really special place! They really love their coffee craft! I love their Nitro Cold Brew. It’s very smooth. Also, try the Hippie, it’s another fav in my book. Their breakfast burritos are delicious, as well as their breakfast sandwiches. If you need a boost, their juices are fantastic. The vibe here is fun and energetic and the staff here are super friendly. It’s a great place to get your caffeine fix.

Love the coffee, the service, and the people here. They are always kind and go out of their way to insure every customer is is taken care of. I have been using their app for delivery during Covid and it works great. Thanks for caring enough to keep your customers and staff safe during these uncertain times. Masks rule!

Wonderful laid back atmosphere amongst a historic building. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who love their job of creating the best tasting coffee in town. Try the breakfast burrito. It was rated best tasting in KC and I have to agree!
