Its cool but i wasn't feeling the worker dude low key harrasing me because apparently i was speaking to a girl he liked or something. Dude with a big beard. Simpping over women that ARE NOT YOURS ANYWAY will get you in sht you will regret getting into. Real talk

Great local coffee shop. It's been around forever because their coffee is good and their service is exceptional. Stop in, you'll be glad you did!

In town for little while and stopped by. I got an iced mocha and it was very nice. Sweet, but not too sweet and just delicious. I wish I was in town longer so I could try their whole menu!

Love the coffee - but someone has to teach these guys and girls hospitality 101, and/or get them some happy pills. Very standoffish people behind the counter always. They're either totally miserable or socially inept. Never seen one of them smile, or say thanks. I support local - always will, I'll continue to buy my coffee there instead of SB. But come on...

This is by far the best coffee in town. The shop is nice, clean and cozy. The staff is super nice and I believe they are the first privately coffee shop in the nation to put a Starbuck's out of business! They did that through awesome customer service and EXCELLENT coffee! If you have any questions concerning coffee, Jon Cates is the resident expert. He has travelled all over buying and sampling coffee and is a true master at his craft. Their coffee makes excellent presents for birthdays, office functions, holidays, etc.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Terrible coffee. I ordered the "iced coffee" thinking I was getting cold brew and I got a cup of ice filled with hot drip coffee. Tasted watered down and old. But that wasn't the bad part. If I order something and it wasn't what I was expecting, that's on me. So I also got an iced toddy. It was so disgusting. Sour and bitter in the worst way. I paid for both and poured them out in the gutter where they belong. And the cherry on top is the rude and unfriendly staff.

BEST ICE TEA!! I used to come in here and get coffee and it's good don't get me wrong, very good in fact. The thing is, a friend of mine that works down in Westport told me to try their iced tea, and I got to say it's phenomenal. It's got me to where I can't drink any other iced tea, at all, anywhere. I honestly can't describe it in any kind of way does it justice. It's crisp and clean and refreshing and I love it. So my suggestion is go to a coffee house and order iced tea, you won't be disappointed.

Maybe the best coffee in KC. Good pastries also. It's ironic that I didn't like the coffee initially. Now I not only prefer them when in town, but I have mail order coffee when I work in Texas and Arkansas.

One of the best coffee shops in KC. Wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Staff is great. I've heard their baked goods are also amazing.
