Broadway Café

Easily one of my favorite coffee shops, in KC and ever. The staff are always so nice and inviting. And the customers who frequent the shop are the same. There’s no place I’d rather spend a morning drinking coffee than Broadway Cafe!

I stepped through Broadway Cafés doors and into 1994. The latte was excellent and it’s clear that they have been perfecting it for the last 20 years. The espresso was extracted well and the milk was frothed with experience. If you want an “original” coffee experience, this is the place.

Best. Espresso. Ever. Hands down my favorite of any place. The place is a bargain for coffee too. I ordered a quad espresso and it came with a free refill of hot or iced coffee! I mean come on man, for tre fitty I got enough caffeine to last me the weekend!

This Coffeeshop has purposely put temperature so very low winter and summer you can not even sit for 20 minute.. your coffee getting cold in 2 minutes.. It has arctic temperatures you got a wear hats jaket and may gloves to complete your coffee.. Simply they don’t want people to sit.. they jus wan you to take coffee out .. like drivethru.. Unfortunately.. If you want to sit to read or study please find somewhere that is made to sit like .Twosuger which couple blocks away or otherwise you will get cold and sick..

Very good 8oz Americano with espresso coffee blend from six origins. It has a good flavor.

I drop in regularly with my boyfriend for a drink and snack before my workday starts. The drinks and snacks here are delicious. The tea has a nice floral quality to it, and the hot chocolate is top notch and perfect for cooler mornings. The Italian cream soda is also very good and the coffee is a fantastic pick-me-up and not too overpoweringly bitter or over roasted.

The pastries change from time to time (most notably, the selection of cookie flavors) but I've been very happy with every last pastry I've ordered.

The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly and if you go in regularly, they remember your orders! Sometimes they'll make beautiful latte art in my hot chocolate cups.

The music sometimes slaps too.

My only two "complaints" is that sometimes the line is long and occasionally there's weird people hanging out or loitering out front at the outside seating.

I always look forward to my morning pre-work drink/snack here.

Simply the best. Great baristas that have been making great coffee, some for over 20 years.

Best coffee in midtown. Locals gather here. They roast their own coffee right up the street. 5 star.

I've been here a number of times. Not my favorite spot (not close to where I live) but I like to come here nonetheless. It's your typical coffee place. All kinds of coffees and pastries. You won't be disappointed here.
