Favorite coffee in Kansas City. We have been coming here for over 10 years and the quality remains. They roast their own sourced beans in their roastery up the street. The staff is friendly and helpful. They now even have a small parking area next to the cafe. Espresso and coffee are delicious as are the pastry and light lunch options they offer. Multiple tables inside as well as chairs outside under the awning. Books and a few toys and puzzles available inside for your kids to play with as they enjoy a hot chocolate or milk steamer. One highchair also available.

Cute little space. Definitely a COFFEE Shop. I mistakenly thought it would be a restaurant when agreeing to meet a friend. But I can eat normal food anywhere, this was delightful!!

Coffee is decent, but the staff is unfriendly and pretentious. I get that you want to be unique and not go with the 3rd Wave coffee shop culture of KCMO, but being a jerk to a customer is never the answer. I only came in because I got a half off coupon, but I'm not coming back. I see why Broadway is never packed while most coffee shops in KC are packed with people from open to close.

Friendly efficient service coupled with quality ingredients will keep me happy everytime. The roast beef and cheddar sandwich tasted superb. The browned butter rice krispies treat had me feeling like a kid again. The coffee and espresso were both on target to wake me up on a cold sleepy evening.

I've never found a better coffee shop anywhere. Love this place. I've moved away from KC, and years later every-time I return, it's the first place I go. I just wish I knew the recipe for those black currant scones.

Best coffee place in my opinion. Super friendly staff low prices good food. Centrally located for my convenience and a really good place to take friends have lunch break or sit and read . When I'm around I always stop in to talk have a macchiato and read. Great place. You love it . I love it.

The vegan pumpkin bread is always on the rise in price, which is rather disconcerting considering that the portion has not grown larger. I just can't entirely imagine that the ingredients sourced are getting better and better with each price spike, so it would be greatly appreciated if that can stop! Also, when I approach the counter and say that I want something that is light and refreshing with little to no sugar, it'll be great if the person behind the counter could offer suggestions rather than stare at me blankly. That has happened multiple times, and it would be fabulous if you all could get staff in that knows your menu, knows your products, could, I don't know, make a sale... All in all, I really do love this place. I've been going here for more than 10 years, and I generally recommend it to any and everyone looking for some local ambience. I just wish that the level of service was like it was back in the day, so that just means I visit less and less. Can't wait to see big changes here.

Quick service, and extremely happy to support a business with their own bike parking!

Yummy coffee, cute shop. They have Irish Cream syrup which is my favorite and bomb Brown Butter Rice Crispy Treats.

Broadway Roasters is one of the original local, quality roasters in KC. I was never a coffee drinker, until them. I thought all coffee was bitter, acidic. I blame Broadway for my expensive coffee bean purchasing habit. Wondering if it's great coffee? They're still there and Starbucks survived the shortest stint I've ever seen for any such competing franchise. Broadway has great coffee, great service. It's consistent.
