Broadway definitely wakes me up right! Used to be a daily adventure when I was in my teens and 20's and now in my 30's it just feels like a comfortable place to meet friends and catch up when we can. I am glad that they are still here and survived the pandemic. It is a hometown staple in my book. The coffee cake is fabulous and the coffee is tasty. I do take cream and sugar and the barista added it perfectly which is wild to me... because I'm pretty picky when it comes to others dressing up my coffee haha it's like he read my mind!

Great coffee and meeting place. There are no outlets at the seats (at least none that I could find), so you can't charge your laptop.

One of my favorite cafes in KC. The coffee is always good, they usually have some excellent treats in as well. The indoor space (once it's safe to open all the way up) is pretty roomy for the area and nice to relax in.

This is an important coffee shop to Kansas City. It feels like home. Consistently great roasts and espresso, at the best price they can muster. Cute baked goods. Tip them well because we need them around. Never update your floors! Solidarity!

This place was fantastic. The prices are very fair and the coffee, as well as the chai tea, are absolutely delicious and expertly prepared. We purchased the Brewer's Choice beans on our way home to CO and regret not buying three more bags. The staff are patient the hours are great for any time of day. Would highly recommend.
