The food is great - definitely the freshest, healthiest choices in town. I recommend the quiche and pretty much all the salads/soups/sandwiches. The food on its own is 5 stars, but some stuff is just way too expensive, even accounting for organic/local. For example, if you get a bowl of granola with yogurt, it's $9.50.

I love the atmosphere there and how the coffee shop is set up and how the employees are very well round it with their customer service skills and I ordered a cold brew mocha and I also ordered one of their sandwiches which was really really good and I would highly recommend going there.

Really great food and an amazing handmade chai. The tomato garlic soup is so garlicky, it's absolutely fantastic. Their rhubarb chutney is also delicious. While their usually quite busy, the food and drinks come out in no time.

Wonderful spot for a late lunch with my husband. There was enough sound that we knew we were not alone, but it was quiet enough we could converse without shouting.

We both loved our food. My husband really enjoyed his Italian sandwich and coffee, and both my chai and my turkey, Brie and blueberry rhubarb chutney sandwich were amazing!

The place to go in Winona for excellent soups, sandwiches, quiche, etc. I had their oatmeal, and dang, even their oatmeal is way better than I would ever make it at home. Definitely on the pricey side, but they're charging what they need to charge for excellent food and service. A heads up that this place tends to be packed for lunch...advise arriving on the shoulders of the lunch hour if you're in a hurry.

I have a Heron addiction! Fresh wholesome food worth every penny.

Four years later my opinion hasn't changed. I eat here several times a week and always leave feeling good.
Freshest food in town. The frittata and the pears with greens salad are my favorites. Excellent soups and pastries as well.

I absolutely loved the egg salad sandwich. What a great spin on a classic. The chai latte was generous and tasty. What a pleasant surprise this place was.

I had the southwest turkey sandwich. One of the best sandwiches of my life. Great service!

Made fresh foods with local ingredients like the breads. Many different flavors and tastes they think globally on flavor! The thai peanut noodles are fantastic! Relaxing atmosphere. Only negative is that it's pretty high prices for food.
