Loved loved the vermicelli beef salad I got! It was so fresh and delicious. My fiance got the beef stew which was sweeter than expected, but hearty and warm. I could see that being a great dinner on a cold evening. My fiance's mom got the spring rolls and she enjoyed those.

You can definitely tell the ingredients here are fresh and the owners truly care about what they're doing. Definitely a great addition to Winona and I can’t wait to try more!

This is definitely one of my new favorite places to eat in Winona!! Right as I walked in the smells from the kitchen were incredible! The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you with any questions you have. I got the strawberry black milk tea with brown sugar boba in it and it was DELICIOUS!!! I will definitely be coming back to try the food!

Norvary is such a wonderful addition to Winona’s limited food options! Their food/drinks are so fresh and delicious. I have to stop myself from going every day! 😆 The spring rolls and sauce are perfect, the beef vermicelli salad is huge and yet so light and refreshing! And the drinks: wow! Their boba is perfectly soft and sweet, best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to keep trying new items on their menu and for their indoor dining to open. Wonderful family owned business!

Bahn mi sandwich 12/10! Beef stew 10/10! I love seeing new places like this pop up in Winona. Go support small biz and get some delicious Vietnamese food!!! Can’t wait to try the Vietnamese coffee and bubble tea. 🧋

Both the Norvary Pho and Spring Rolls were absolutely delicious! 10/10! The aesthetic and ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming, and the staff were so nice. I will definitely be going back again!

Very excited and happy to hear about Winona having a Vietnamese restaurant. Unfortunately if you enjoy your food more on the traditional side, I would say their Vietnamese food is more on the “Americanized” taste and style.. Thought I’d share my honest review to those who care to read below.

Bahmi sandwiches both pork and beef were well seasoned. Was missing typical ingredients such as jalapeños and cilantro. Sandwiches were very saucy and had more mayo than the traditional bahmi. Couldn’t taste if they had put beef pate in or not. I believe the pork was braised giving a softer textured than your average pork bahmi. The texture was off, no crunch from the pickled veggies or bread. Taste was there but with the choice of ingredients used, you definitely can tell their bahmis are catered more towards a classic American-style sandwich. When it comes to portion, the sandwich is no larger than your typical 6’ sub from subway. Beef bahmi was priced at $11, and the pork was $10. Was more expensive than usual, but given the state of the economy I guess it’s understandable.

Spring rolls were priced at $8 for two. The amount of veggies, meat and noodles were very well balanced. I usually don’t like spring rolls, but these ones were flavorful. I like the addition of chicken added and you can clearly taste the different herbs placed within the rolls and just not your typical lettuce. Sauce was great, Usually I don’t like a peanut based sauce, but the peanuts weren’t overpowering the sauce, giving it a well balanced hoisin sauce. Still underportion given it’s priced at 2 for $8…

Vermicelli salad.. can’t go wrong with it, the sauce wasn’t too sweet and the egg rolls were well stuffed. Again, only thing I’d say is that $15 for a vermicelli salad? Ehhh.. debatable but still under potion given it’s price.

Overall experience:
Was the food good? Yes… for Winona it is..
Would I go back? If they have pho then maybe.. but given the price and how I like my Vietnamese food more on the traditional side, I’m not too much of a fan but I encourage everyone to try it at least once if you have not.

Wonderful pho! The broth was so good. Hoping they offer hot sauce and a wider variety of ingredients as they become more established. Excellent service.

Vivian is absolutely adorable and so sweet! Been in a few times during their opening week. The Boba drinks I’ve had have all been made to perfection!

Experience was good, but the prices? Come on. Why charge for condiments? And spring rolls for almost $10? Questionable.

Overall, does not compare to la cross or the cities. Charging for sauces, that’s just a crazy move I didn’t expect and it wasn’t even enough sauces for the broth itself. I’m sorry, owner you are great and all, but the Asian Americans who has had pho before knows it’s crazy to be charging folks for condiments. I literally paid for a whole small bottle of hoisin, siracha and fish sauce.

Such a disappointment. Lol. Make your money though because the non Asians don’t know and are paying too much money for their bowl of pho here… I suppose nothing will beat this restaurant since it’s Winona 🤣🫣

On another note, this town is not nice. I had my fair share of St Mary’s campus here and it was bad. Look up my review on the campus & people there… but glad you love the people here… I’m just glad I had a professor that never gave up on me hence why I came to stop by this expensive restaurant…. But sorry, price isn’t worth it.

I stumbled on this place accidentally and was thrilled. Amazing boba tea menu, cheerful atmosphere, fast service, and fresh, bright, lovingly cooked food. Was not expecting such a gem!
