Food is always fresh, delicious, and local. Very welcoming and accommodating business. They have thee best soups in town, made from scratch. I love this place to say the least. Staff is always friendly! They always have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options!

I am just thrilled that blue heron is open again! It is my favorite restaurant in Winona! The sunflower veggie sandwich, the summercrisp pear salad and the Szechuan noodles salads are wonderful… And of course the soups and teas and there are other menu items are great as well. I highly recommend them! And, the staff is awesome!!!! Yeah, you are open!!!

Great atmosphere with vintage decor and artsy photography on the walls. Excellent salads, sandwiches, coffee, Italian soda and other offerings. They also have cards and a couple of board games for anyone to use. A little on the pricey side, as an egg salad sandwich is $9, for example, but a great place overall.

Like everything about this coffeehouse and restaurant. Clean, cozy atmosphere with lots of art. Lord at the counter at your convenience. Food always tastes great and baked goods are fantastic!

Friendly, fast, all locally sourced ingredients (they even list all of the sources), and a wonderful atmosphere featuring paintings from local artists. Great variety on the menu with something for everyone even gluten free and vegitarian options. Personally enjoyed the egg salad, it was seasoned with cumin rather than sweetners and the mass of sprouts added wonderful quirky texture.

Delectable house-baked gluten-free basket and bread (glutinous also) and great coffee and espresso drinks. Curried chicken salad has just the right amount of spice and sweetness from raisins. We also tried the fritatta and the quiche and both were rich and delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is great for studying or meeting up with friends.

Such a nice place that makes an excellent latte and serves a nice variety of quiches as well as lots of other things. Obviously, a place where locals feel welcome to sit, enjoy the food and coffees and chew the fat.
