To be honest, the coffee sucked. I would say that the reason to go would be for their great bakery and cute atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. It is also nestled in the middle of a cute abundance of shops and charming area of the suburbs, downtown Victoria. If I lived closer I would definitely go there to sit and work on projects while eating a baked good of theirs but I would pass on the coffee.

If I could live in this coffee shop I would. The owners are always so welcoming. The pastries and bakery items are all delish and so fresh! The coffee is to die for! You can tell how much love is put into this coffee shop. 12/10 recommend!

There is no finer coffee shop that I've ever been to! The caramel rolls are things of legend. Best get there early, though, they're gone by lunchtime! Plenty of light, unbelievably kind owners & staff, always clean, always consistent. Ruby's is family owned and operated and boy does it feel like it. If you're ever in this part of town, you really ought to stop in; you'll find reasons to return no matter where you're coming from :)

Ruby's Roost is such a blessing to have as a downtown coffee shop. With my family living next to the Victoria fire-station, and me working at Sam Hennemann State Farm next to downtown, almost all our lives are spent in Victoria, so we are passionate about supporting local businesses. Support Ruby's Roost!

This is a wonderful little place!! When we arrived, we were greeted very happily. We were in search of doughnuts, but they were out so we tried a brownie, oatmeal raisin cookie and rhubarb cake and WOW! It all was fantastic! I got a blended mocha and my husband got a strawberry smoothie and both were awesome!! The coffee was better than nearly every other place I've been! The smoothie was all natural, no added sugar, so light and refreshing!
I've only had 1 favorite local coffee shop that I've loved for years, but now I've got 2!!!
Support this fantastic business!

Awesome gluten-free blueberry scone. They carry kombucha! Yeh!! Will try a cold brew next time. Cute place. Friendly, kind employees.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We absolutely love this local bakery and coffeehouse! Their LUV tea from Sweden is tasty, too. The baked goods are prepared with organic ingredients only. My favorite is The signature, Ruby scone. The caramel and cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever had! Their coffee and drinks are made with Tiny Footprints coffee beans. Don’t miss this one. Check their website to for their hours. I think they’re closed on Mondays.

A friend told me about Ruby's Roost and described it as her favorite cup of coffee. Ummmmm, yes! The coffee is amazing and worth a half hour drive from any direction. I didn't have a baked good, but they are all homemade. They looked fantastic; I so need one of their cinnamon rolls!! I met the owners while I was ordering and they are so sweet. I will definitely be back!

Good mix of drinks for just about everyone's tastes. Also the baked goods are awesome my favorite are the sticky buns if you want one tho I recommend getting there before 8am or you'll miss out.
