This is a much more intimate spyhouse compared to other locations. Everything was great!

Great atmosphere, good space to study and the coffee is good. Cute latte art and in spring/ summer the outdoor seating is cozy and pretty to relax at. Staff is really nice

I did not enjoy as much as the Spyhouse location compared to the NE Minneapolis. The price of an iced vanilla latte with nonfat milk was $8.25, which seems way overpriced. The seating was comfortable and the baristas were friendly. It was slightly chilly because the window was open even though it was 35 degrees.

We got lattes and a bakery item (apple fritter from Mojo Monkey) - both were so yummy. And I’m always impressed by latte art! Smaller interior, but cozy vibes and cute plants. ☺️

We really enjoy this place. The coffee and tea are great, we just wish they had more pastry options. At least when we've been, they're out of almost everything fairly early in the day. And if I may, a few gluten free options would be swell. Otherwise, like the music, decor, and again...the drinks are great.

Clean, inviting atmosphere with old school quality touches throughout. Aces High is a great deal for trying some of their fresh roasted brews, as espresso and pour overs. Though I am traveling through I would definitely make this a usual hang if I lived in the area!

Great hip coffee shop in Mac Grove area. Plenty of free street parking, outdoor seating in the back, nice ambience with plants and bright lighting, good WiFi signal, kind baristas, lots of drink options, and good selection of delicious baked goods from Black Walnut Bakery and Mojo Monkey. Giving 4 stars due to spendier prices. I had their signature iced Spygirl which is a lavender and honey latte. It's really smooth and not overly sweet, however, it's $6 so definitely on the pricier side. Would have liked it with oat milk but would have been an extra 75 cents. Also had an almond croissant that was fantastic but $4.75. Wasn't super busy on a Sunday morning so I was able to find many open tables.

I did an online order pick up here this morning for a couple drinks and a pastry. I got a text saying the order would be ready at 9:35, and at 9:50 I asked if my order was ready because I only saw one drink sitting at the online pickup area, no second drink or pastry.
The person working told me that someone may have taken my drink, and asked what it was. He made me another after I asked about it, but it just felt a little underwhelming that that was the extent of the resolution. It’s obviously not their fault (though I think if they labeled drink cups it would be clearer for people and this would happen less).
They were crazy busy, and I think it’s because they make good drinks and have a good atmosphere. It made me wonder if maybe they might think about making their pickup counter more efficient and user friendly. They don’t put names or labels on drinks, and many drinks look the same, and there is not enough room near the pickup area when they’re busy for every person waiting to be able to see what drinks they’re calling out. A few people near me seemed confused or annoyed about not knowing whose drink was whose. I probably won’t come back because I’ve had a couple of experiences here that made me feel annoyed and there are other coffee shops, and I think that’s probably fine with them: they have a lot of willing customers! I feel like a huge Karen right now but… just wanted to share my thoughts because the issues I saw in the shop today w/r/t lack of clarity and organization feel worth sharing.

This was my last spyhouse shop I had been too and I think it's my favorite. The simplistic beauty in it's design is refeshing and inspiring. The little details complete the shop. Excellent service and mastership and treatment of the coffee to deliver a spot on cup of coffee or espresso. Only thing I'd like to see is more plants 😜 🌱. Keep up the good work! The Costa Rica pourover and espresso was so tasty. Could have chilled there all day with it's chill vibes. Peace and blessings ✌🏼cheers ☕

I love the Spyhouse Coffees around town, but I won't be back to this one. They had the floor mopped and chairs up over an hour before close, which made it unwelcoming to stay much longer. Definitely not the atmosphere I am looking for, or what Spyhouses usually offer.
